[Marvel/DC, Mainly DC] I Have an Infinite Future

For your information, I'm in Gotham. I just finished arguing with my jerk of a foster father and was getting ready to fly to Ethiopia to find my birth mother. But the moment I got off the plane, I was gone. When I woke up, I was in the infirmary of some Infinite Academy that might not even have a license, and they'd forced me to enroll. Still, at least the occasional extracurricular activities were healthier, more fun, and even more meaningful than going on night patrol every single night.

After graduation, I could save the world full-time. If I ran short on money, I could ask the school for a raise, though that meant more overtime, too.

Since taking this job, whenever I got bored, I could visit other worlds to chat with my counterparts and help them save the world.

Then one time, a coworker asked me to help steal a gem. After we finished, we stopped at a burger joint, and I suddenly heard someone call my name. Before I could even turn around, I heard them say,

"Weren't you dead?!"

I @*%&,

Who are you talking to?! I've sailed the seas as a pirate, been a ninja in the Hidden Mist, and that's not even mentioning teaming up with my counterparts to protect our little brothers and fight crime, or exorcising cursed spirits with my friends. I've even had Guardian Eggs and Stand users, and I once sent the black-market literary types books like the Five-Three and Huanggang workbooks. Keep cursing me like that, and believe me, I'll draw a little circle and make you [Fall] for half a... no, a whole hour!
