[October 15: Going VIP, with a 10,000-word update]
In Call of Cthulhu tabletop games, the dastardly deeds of troublemaking players are too numerous to recount. Even the most good-natured game master can end up wanting to take up a butcher's knife and become the Victorious Fighting Buddha on the spot.
Wen Suxia was one of the KPs driven to the brink.
His PLs were one disaster after another.
One was contrary by nature and obsessed with stirring up trouble, even naming himself "McFazze" just to pull a fast one on someone;
One spent every day trying to seduce his NPCs, caring only about looks and not age, and going after men and women alike;
One had strict standards for quality of life, insisting on three meals a day and eight hours of sleep...
Every time Wen Suxia spent time with this pack of bastards, he felt like he was losing ten years off his life.
However, he had severe social anxiety.
Dealing with the familiar troublemaking PLs was bad enough, but he was even more afraid of spending time with people he didn't know.
Wen Suxia had no choice but to keep a close watch on the players' troublemaking antics during the game and reject every unreasonable action.
Under his guidance, full of "fatherly love," even a troublemaker group could bring a campaign to a successful end.
**
Just as Wen Suxia resolved to socialize with his classmates and recruit a new group of players, everything started to go wrong
A professor at the school inexplicably resigned, and a senior graduate student in his department suddenly went mad and shouted, "I'm a cat!";
The last subway train entered an anomalous space, and most of its passengers turned into monsters. American-style horror had come to life;
The fish-man cosplay group at the convention was so realistic that the internet's jokesters all marveled that One Piece had turned out to be a manga based on real events...
Wen Suxia: "A real-life CoC campaign? Is something wrong with me, or with this world?"
His fellow troublemaking PL: "Smiling without a word.jpg"
Later, Wen Suxia discovered that neither he nor the world seemed quite normal.

"The Investigator Who Loves to Court Death"
Contaminants, mutants, silent zones, the gods of the old days...
This world is full of filth. Evil breeds where the light cannot reach, and dark currents surge beneath the surface.
Even investigators with special abilities must be careful. One wrong step, and they're doomed beyond redemption.
There is only one exception.
When faced with a swarm of insects rushing toward him, he charges against the tide and leaps into their nest;
When everyone else avoids a plague-ridden city, he cheerfully raises his hand and volunteers to go;
When an endless pit suddenly opens in the ground, he jumps in before even looking at the intel.
Flesh mazes, deathly silent parks, carnivals that eat people...
He's in every deadly place, risking his life without a second thought.
Among investigators around the world, there's room for debate over who's the strongest, but there's no question about who's the most terrifying:
Mr. 6, real name Wen Junyan, a man who pursues death.
*
A demon, a madman, a hypocrite, a jinx, a cold-blooded monster...
Wen Junyan knows he has never had a good reputation.
But those people are telling the truth. He doesn't mind playing the villain if it gets him what he wants.
Only he knows that the nightmares of his youth have never left him.
The white flames that burned on that altar still sear his insides and torment his soul.
In this wretched world, others place their hopes in the gods, yearning to be saved.
But he does not worship.
He will kill the gods.
A danmei novel with Lovecraftian elements. The gods and monsters are original creations.
Content Notes
1. The author is a novice, and the novel contains many original elements and personal favorites (such as emotionless cute girls and cross-dressing heartthrobs). There is a lot of OOC and plenty of jokes. The real-life tabletop gaming and horror elements are roughly fifty-fifty.
2. The views of individual characters do not represent the author's views. I stand by the core socialist values and reject attempts to pin labels on people.
3. The scenarios in the novel use the seventh-edition rules, mixed with rural rules. I'm a total novice, so check the rulebook for the correct version.
4. I won't bring up other people in my comments, and I ask that you don't bring me up in theirs. Let's get along. There's no need to announce a breakup; let's each go our own way. I wish you all the best.

PS: You can discuss the content notes rationally in the comments, but personally, if you don't like it, just move on. There's no need to waste your precious time on me. (Sincerely)

Okay, Xia Xia A is totally hammered. The Secret Group of Evil Gods is on the run, hehehe
Eating fish blindly is so scary!
My dear darlings, I am going out this week, and the daily updates are guaranteed, but short. Then the update time may be qwq in the middle of the night, so check it out when you wake up in the morning.
Touch it big
Suddenly I remembered that the last time I played Depersonalization, I failed three times in a row, so I angrily quit the game JPG. (Crawling in darkness) (Screaming in agony)
It's so funny that I almost woke myself up by listening to the alarm clock singing.
Hahaha, the tea tastes so strong
A loving father's kiss (dog head)
Oops, Crow is Cthulhu. Now that I think about it, I guessed it before, but it turns out that the dog is directly Msisha, good guy.
Yan Huan, the reveler, should be Hasta, the dancer Cha Li... Tulz Cha? Green smoke is for dancing, Crow. I can't remember anyone doing art with a similar name.
Yes, why can't everyone go back to their respective homes?
