This Good-for-Nothing Becomes the Strongest Beast Tamer

In the sky, in the ocean, atop mountains, deep in the desert... This world is home to countless wondrous creatures. Star Beasts and humans coexist on this Blue Star. The tradition of humans summoning Star Beasts and directing them in battle has continued to this day. Everyone worships the strong, and countless people dream of claiming the championship. But not everyone can become a Beast Tamer. Yu Qing was one of the mere 0.001% of people who were considered good-for-nothings by the world at large. Until she discovered a secret. A good-for-nothing who couldn't summon Star Beasts made a stunning comeback, going from "bottom of the class" to "college champion" to "global champion" in just a few years, completing a triple leap. On the day she won the championship trophy and became chairman of the Beast Tamer Alliance, a huge crowd showed up at the press conference. Everyone was eager to learn the young champion's secret to success, and how she had rocketed from zero to one hundred. Yu Qing fell silent for two seconds, glanced at her Star Beast companions, and answered earnestly: "First, you need someone with a bad brain to knock you off a cliff." The reporters: ... All right, write that down. To become a champion, you need a sense of humor. * They called her a good-for-nothing, an anomaly. But she was determined to prove that fortune favored her and destiny was on her side. --Coming Soon-- I Became the Strongest Beast Tamer While Being a Lazybones Yu Xian was reborn into a Beast Taming novel. The good news: she'd read the book countless times and knew the plot by heart. The bad news: she'd landed in an alternate timeline in a parallel world, so the plot was completely useless. Looking at her near-bottom grades in battle class... Yu Xian: ...I can't be bothered to compete. Besides, she was a Pokemon TV and manga fan, a pure casual player who knew nothing about battles. She wasn't interested in becoming an Alliance champion. Yu Xian made a plan: work hard to earn money before graduation, then travel the world with her companions after graduation, meeting different people and Star Beasts along the way. But the moment she stepped into the wilderness, her golden finger, which had been 22 years late, finally came online: Psychic Streamer Development System: "Hey, friend! Come livestream your wonderful life! Earn views to get stronger without losing your hair! At peak strength, even a punch that takes down an Elemental Lord is within reach!" Yu Xian: ... This System is weird. What kind of normal person would box with a Star Beast?! * Years later, a streamer who had never competed before became the Alliance champion. Everyone was astonished, eager to know how she had turned the tables against the odds and soared to success. Yu Xian accepted an interview with a solemn expression: "I have no tactics or plans. I owe everything to my Star Beast friends being high-level, and to the general public loving me so much." Reporter: ...All right, write that down. The new champion has no shame and is great at humblebragging. --Content Warnings-- 1. A plot-driven urban Beast Taming story with a romance. The male lead hasn't been decided; we'll see who fate chooses. 2. I'll do my best to write it, and you can read it however you like. The plot is old-fashioned (which I like), and there may be bugs. If something doesn't match what you expect, feel free to leave, because I won't change anything unless it's a matter of principle. 3. Inspired by Pokemon, Digimon, and the animal kingdom. I really want to cuddle all kinds of little animals qwq 4. I bought a commercially usable cover from an artist, not a custom character design. I hope I can earn enough to commission one. 5. I don't mention other authors in my comments, and I ask that you don't mention me in theirs.
