The story is complete. Thank you all for accompanying me along the way!
My new novel, Taking a Concubine, is now available. The blurb for my upcoming novel, Make Her Unable to Escape, is below. I hope you'll support it!
As it happened, A Nian was an inconspicuous maid in the Duke's mansion.
After the Duke's heir, Zhou Xuanqing, kept her in his chambers and doted on her for two years, he heard that someone from A Nian's family had come to redeem her.
After A Nian left, Zhou Xuanqing felt no particular reluctance to part with her. Besides, his mother had already arranged a marriage for him. Once the future Madam of the Estate entered the household, his life would be settled.
Who could have guessed that one day he would see A Nian in the peach grove, dressed in a red skirt with raven-black hair, graceful and captivating, dazzlingly beautiful amid the drifting petals, like a celestial maiden.
The hand Zhou Xuanqing pressed to his chest suddenly began to hurt.
A Nian had suffered a hard life. Her family was so poor when she was young that they sent her to the Duke's mansion to work as a maid. But after she grew up, her family actually came to redeem her. Fortunately, the Duchess was kind enough to let her go, and A Nian chose to return home without hesitation.
Her family wanted to arrange a marriage for her, and A Nian blushed as she agreed.
One day, she passed through the peach grove and encountered Zhou Xuanqing. Though things were a little awkward, the heir was refined and upright, and had always treated her well. So A Nian gracefully curtsied. "Greetings, Your Lordship."
When he heard she was getting married today, Zhou Xuanqing could no longer hold back.
I taught you to write, stroke by stroke. I cherished you day and night. I even gave you your name. Everything you have comes from me, and you turned out just as I wanted. How could you marry someone else?
Even if you become a concubine, you must stay by my side.
PS:
1v1, sweet romance, both leads are virgins (the heroine won't become a concubine. If she did, what would be the point of writing this?)
If you don't like it, please click the X. Don't force yourself. Let's part on good terms.
This is a fictional setting, entirely fictional. Corrections are welcome.
These are my novels, not historical documents. Personal attacks are not welcome! They'll come right back at you!
Please add Taking a Concubine to your favorites!
In truth, Liu Sheng knew that the only reason she had made it to Wen Zhiyun's side was that she had no shame.
After drifting from place to place, she became the maid of the young heir of the Marquis of Pingchang. Perhaps because she was beautiful and obedient, the young heir doted on her.
She first met Wen Zhiyun at a horse ranch. Among the galloping steeds, she dashed out with all her might, raised her pale, delicate face, and used the coy, graceful manner she'd practiced countless times to plead for help: "Please, my lord, save this servant."
The young heir had taken a liking to Wen Zhiyun's horse, while Wen Zhiyun had taken a liking to the young heir's maid. The two struck a deal.
She was no more than a woman exchanged for a horse. By the time Wen Zhiyun remembered her, she had already grown into a charming beauty, like a flower just about to bloom.
He doted on her for quite some time. Between the sheets, he spoke softly and tenderly, his words lingering and intimate: "I quite like that sweet little face of yours. You're so alluring."
But later, something about him began to change. Even though he still had the handkerchief from the night she first became his, he was consumed by rage and jealousy. "How did he treat you? Was it like this? Or did he do this to you, too?"
Her master gradually cooled toward her, and everyone in the household said she'd fallen out of favor. Only Liu Sheng understood that being a bedchamber maid wasn't a good path. She had to plan a future for herself.
By the time Liu Sheng stood before him openly and honorably, Wen Zhiyun, who had survived countless brushes with death on the battlefield, had finally come to his senses.
But the woman before him no longer wanted to turn back. That was all right.
He could swallow his pride and kneel to beg her to return.
Upcoming Novel 2: Make Her Unable to Escape
A rebellious canary * a powerful, domineering man
Si Nan had just turned sixteen when she disappeared for two years.
After returning home, she wasn't betrothed until she was twenty. By the standards of the time, she was already an old maid. Just as the marriage documents were about to be exchanged, someone came to the Si family.
"If the young lady dares to marry, not a single member of the Si family will be spared." The man's sinister gaze, like a venomous snake flicking its tongue, fixed on Si Nan behind the screen.
The Si family was driven into a desperate situation, and only one person offered them a helping hand.
Only Si Nan knew that he had arranged all of it. He offered his hand only to take revenge on her and keep her captive.
She removed her hairpins and ornaments, put on a plain dress, and went to face the man in her nightmares. She became his canary once more, waiting for another chance to escape.
Ever since birth, Song Qingshu had lived a wild and unrestrained life. One day, he acquired a beautiful, spirited young woman. But she was unruly and difficult to tame, and often said strange things. It took quite a bit of effort to handle her.
At first, he treated her as little more than a way to pass the time. Later, he became increasingly obsessed and let his guard down. But the woman took his heart with her when she escaped.
After much effort, he finally captured her and brought her back. Song Qingshu no longer had even a trace of pity for her.
When drunk, he whispered smugly in her ear with the intimacy of a lover: "When you escaped back then, I secretly thought that once I caught you, I'd make you wish you were dead."
PS: Both leads are virgins. The male lead is a crazy, domineering bastard. Expect melodrama, intense angst, and a coercive romance.
Theme: No matter what circumstances you face, keep a positive attitude toward life and work hard to live.
How should I put it, I still feel a little disconnected. The male protagonist sent A-Nian away, but it was A-Nian who was apparently getting married, but it was just out of personal selfishness that he didn't want A-Nian to wear someone else's wedding dress?
When will the new article be published?
Does A-Nian's father, the eldest prince, really love his mother? It doesn't feel very responsible. Even if he wants to leave in the end and rebel, he should consider the consequences and explain something. No explanation was left.
Oh my God, the heroine's parents are really miserable.
This is exactly postpartum depression.
Help! This couple is so sweet, oh my god! Sweet and sour
Spring is here (dog head) hahaha
This is a very delicate ancient text, like a meticulously crafted meticulous painting, frame by frame slowly passing by in front of your eyes. Many scenes made me cry. I like Ah Nian's character very much, soft on the outside but strong on the inside. Compared to the male protagonist, I still prefer Ye Fanxing. Even though the male protagonist made many, many changes in the end. Thinking about whether Anian and Fanxing would be happier together? There are always ups and downs in stories, and life is full of ups and downs. Thank you, the author.
What a pity that A Nian didn't hear what his mother said.
Read it in one sitting. It's great!
