Captive Joy

Not-really-siblings, not-really-really

When Liu Huan was ten, her mother died of illness. She went back to her hometown with her mother's lover. His family had a boy five years older than her, and everyone told her to call him Big Brother.

Big Brother was handsome and refined, a young gentleman with an elegant bearing.

Liu Huan had lived a hard life since childhood and had never met anyone so wonderful. She adored him and looked up to him. He treated her wonderfully, doting on her and indulging her, buying her countless clothes and accessories. He even personally chose the patterns for her underwear.

At fifteen, Big Brother was the person Liu Huan loved most.

At sixteen, Big Brother chose a husband for her himself. Liu Huan accepted her fate, but on their wedding night, the groom who walked in was actually Big Brother?

As it turned out, there had never been another family at all. It had always been Big Brother.

At last, his father found out. Looking at Liu Huan, curled up in a ball, he angrily demanded to know why.

Blood bright at the corner of Big Brother's mouth, he gave a mocking smile, wild and unrestrained. "Back then, you kept a mistress and angered my mother to death. I asked you why, too, but you gave me no answer. I'm different, though. I'll give you an answer."

His reddened eyes turned tenderly toward Liu Huan. In a hoarse voice, he said, "Your mother served my father, and now you serve me. It all works out rather neatly."

After a night of violent wind and rain, he forced her to drink the wine from his mouth. He held her chin, white as jade, and swallowed, his eyes filled with satisfaction.

"I held your hand and taught you to read and write, stroke by stroke. I used the money I earned to pamper you and keep your skin so soft. Ah Huan, everything you have comes from me. How dare you leave me?"
