Why Am I Still Not Dead? [Infinite]

Bai Ge clicked a link a friend sent her, and everything went black.

When her vision returned, she found herself surrounded by a chilling gloom.

...Ah, so this is the legendary full-dive game, she thought, pushing up her glasses as a flash of wisdom glinted in her eyes.

But it didn’t take long for her to get bored. Worse, the game had a flaw: there was no exit button!

Bai Ge: Then I’ll just have to die my way out. I’m a professional at tempting fate!

[If you feel someone tap you from behind in the middle of the night, don’t turn around. You’ll see a ghost and die!]

Bai Ge: Okay, I’ll turn around and take a look.

She turned so forcefully that she accidentally knocked the head off a headless ghost.

The scene grew awkward for a moment.

Bai Ge: ...Would you like me to pick it up for you?

[If someone asks you to do something after dark, don’t answer. You’ll die.]

Bai Ge’s eyes lit up.

Ghost: Miss, I’ve lost my head. Could I borrow yours?

Bai Ge: Okay! Do you want the long-haired head in my left hand or the bald one in my right? ...Hey, don’t run! Tell me which one you want!

[If you see an NPC with extremely high combat stats during the game, don’t provoke them. You’ll die!]

Bai Ge pondered: Extremely high combat stats? Which of these losers has high stats?

Just then, a monster reached out a blood-soaked hand. “Rich lady, I’m hungry. Feed me!”

Bai Ge beamed. “You there! Come work for me. I’ll feed you!”

Bishui: I won’t stop until I’ve eaten you into bankruptcy. Then you’ll see what I can do!

Bai Ge: Look, the NPCs are all starving and getting skinny. This game’s doomed.

And then she couldn’t shake him off.

What’s more, no matter how recklessly she acted, she wouldn’t die.

Bai Ge: QAQ You’re cheating.

Much later, someone asked how they had first met.

Bishui: She was the only one who didn’t mind how much I ate.

Bai Ge: He’s skinny and doesn’t eat much. He’s cheap to keep.

Onlooking players: ...Big shots, did you not rehearse your answers before the interview?

Premise: Treasure your life, and stay away from Bishui.
