Don't Play Games with a Fool

Blurb

A question from an online user: Need an answer ASAP. How do I get my girlfriend's attention?

Reply: When she's not looking, throw your face away.

A survival game gave Bai Ti the chance to prove a saying that's been around for ages: Never play a horror game with a goofball, because you never know what she'll do next.

During the escape, hairy-legged crabs crawled out of a corner, swarming in a dense mass.

Bai Ti held her teammate back and shouted, "Don't panic, sis! Let me stomp them flat!"

Ruan Mang: "..."

One minute later.

Bai Ti was dancing the tango with Ruan Mang right in the middle of the crab pile.

The crabs: ****!

Remember the first time she played a survival game? Bai Ti had no idea what she was doing and was chased by a ghost. Back then, she swore: Whoever saves me, I'll become sworn siblings with them!

In the end, Ruan Mang appeared.

Thump

Bai Ti didn't want to become sworn siblings anymore. She wanted to get married.

To get her wife's attention, she'd gladly die on the spot. As one online user put it: "Idiots fear nothing. As long as I have no shame, embarrassment can't catch me!"

Online user: I never said that.

Ruan Mang knew how she felt. She just hadn't expected that the other girl's ultimate goal would be... her? (Shocked)

Once she realized this, she decided to play dumb.

If I'm blind enough, no one else can flirt with me!

[Reckless goofball, idiot player × cold and merciless boss teammate]

Reader's guide:

1. The author ate the plot. One-on-one romance, happy ending.

2. Bai Ti is a player, Ruan Mang is a boss.

3. The world setting is the author's own. All the ghosts and monsters in the game are nonhuman.

Theme: Trust science, not rumors about the unknown.
