Encountering a Ghost

Originally titled "Sleepwalking Syndrome"

Blurb

Ever since moving into a new home in the suburbs, Lu Ren has suffered from sleepwalking. At first, she only dreamed, but as time went by, she started wandering outside.

It wasn't safe outside. On the quiet suburban roads in the dead of night, a car would suddenly appear and try to run her over. When she took a walk downstairs, a sharp branch would fall from a tree, aimed right at her head.

The person who pulled her back from the brink of death several times was her neighbor from the courtyard.

Her neighbor was very beautiful, but her body temperature was terribly low. Holding her hand felt like holding a block of ice.

Lu Ren never believed in ghost stories. She just thought her neighbor was really pretty. Even if she were a ghost, that would be fine.

Later, they got married.

Lu Ren hid in the closet, and Yu Gui followed her in, holding a skull. She stayed with her all night.

“Hey, have you ever seen a ghost?”

“No. Where's the ghost?”

“Right in front of you.”

“She is pretty cute.”

Lu Ren was never afraid of ghosts again, because her wife was in her dreams.

All the dangers were just dreams.
