The Female Lead's Target Is Me [Apocalypse]

Blurb

*We crossed the boundaries between species. Please let me hold you.*

She had a dream that she died.

Later, Mo Mi really did die.

She transmigrated into an apocalypse novel as the "villain," a zombie with a mind of her own.

The villain's actions were always bizarre. Whether she was ambushing the male lead, snatching the female lead away when he used her, or getting shot dead by him while protecting the female lead, she acted like she'd escaped from a mental hospital.

Even the System was always trying to force a "villain x heroine" pairing.

System: Actually, you have a wife...

Mo Mi: Oh.

The day her will to survive burned out, Mo Mi found a human surrounded by zombies. She crouched atop a high wall, looking down at her. The woman seemed close to death.

"...Save me."

The human reached out to Mo Mi with a bloodstained hand.

Mo Mi took it. She had never seen eyes so clear.

What she didn't know was that Chi Mo had been reborn.

*

Chi Mo had never thought she'd meet that person again in this life. This time, she would say aloud the words she'd never dared to say.

"I love you. Could you please not die?"

"...I'm begging you."

*

Mo Mi had never thought she'd end up tangled up with an "octopus." Every night, she either stole the blankets or begged for a hug. If Mo Mi didn't hold her, she'd cry and keep crying until she did.

"Waaah~ You don't love me anymore!"

"...I love you."

Honestly, she's such a nuisance.

In the end, Mo Mi stole the blankets back...and the person in them, too.

System: You're gay.

Mo Mi: I'm straight!

System: Is Chi Mo pretty?

Mo Mi: ... (sweating.jpg)

System: You're gay!

You died for me, and I was reborn for you.

[Blunt in words, honest in action, zombie villain x Professional fake crier, human heroine]

Reader's guide:

1. A no-holds-barred, illogical story. One-on-one romance, happy ending.

2. The System forces them together. Mo Mi is a zombie, while Chi Mo is a human who has been reborn.

3. The apocalypse setting is my own creation. Please don't overanalyze it. Thanks for reading!

The bonus-scene collection is in my column, "Bonus Stories Collection (GL)."
