A Romance Without Me

“You can't generalize about people's physical abilities.” The all-around athlete Itadori Maya has always proven this to the sports-loving boys around her. She can beat the Generation of Miracles all by herself. She can be an entire volleyball team's practice partner all by herself. To her, playing ball really is as simple as throwing it in or hitting it back. She'd love to have a lasting romance like an ordinary girl, but with the boys, all she can seem to manage is a friendship that would move the heavens. Then one day, everything changed. Her former guy friends suddenly started saying they were her boyfriends. Just as she began to think her special skill was “turning bros into boyfriends,” she met some new teachers and classmates. Heh. Turns out she can also “conjure boyfriends out of thin air.” Their minds were filled with “memories that never existed,” and one after another they declared that love was so sweet. But sorry, she had absolutely no memories of being in love? Maya: A romance that happened without me? I really had a relationship for nothing. I don't want a love triangle! Big bro, save me!!! Big bro: When did you end up with so many boyfriends, A-Ye, while I somehow got a brother? *Primarily Jujutsu Kaisen, with a mountain of headcanon and a slice-of-life feel. *Megumi is the endgame pairing, with unrequited crushes and a love triangle. *The manga hadn't covered many of these details when I started writing, and the original has since contradicted a lot of them. Please treat this as a parallel world.
