My Familiar Is a Jujutsu Sorcerer

[Synopsis Spoilers Ahead] [New Work Pre-Release: What Could a Geto Cat Possibly Be Up To? Check it out in my author column w] As a necromancer living in the modern world, Aki thinks she has it worse than vampires who raid hospital blood banks. These days, forget skeletons, there aren't even any low-level ghosts. And she expects to find a dead person who meets all her requirements, died in an excellent manner, has no lingering resentment, and wasn't cremated, to serve as her familiar? Ha. Dream on. It's never going to happen. But a mage's path is never truly without hope. On Halloween, Aki was passing through Shibuya when she saw a certain newly deceased sorcerer, and her eyes lit up at once. The certain three-seven-parted sorcerer knew he was dead, but he had no regrets about this particular death. No, wait. The dead can't have "thoughts." "Hehe, you're awake." A girl with delicate features and pitch-black eyes gazed at him. She wore a huge pointed hat, and when she smiled, she seemed a little short on brains. "Here, sign this contract and you'll be my familiar from now on!" "What if I refuse?" "Then, then I'll cry in front of you! Awoooo!" "..." Reading Notes: 1. The male lead is Nanami. Feel free to jump in →v→ New work currently updating: What Could a Geto Cat Possibly Be Up To?, pairing: Geto Synopsis: On the day she inherited her grandmother's cafe, Hirashima Yuka found a battered black cat with purple eyes in an alley. A few months later, she looked at the giant white, sunglasses-wearing Maine Coon lounging in the cafe like a blanket, the orange tabby with a tiger-stripe mark on its head, and the local cat boss who patrolled the neighborhood with a scar at the corner of his mouth but was exceptionally good at acting cute, and fell into deep thought. She was pretty sure she'd opened a regular cafe... "Boss, give me one more hour! I'll pay double!" "Sure thing. Feel free to pet any of the cats here." Then she paused and gently rubbed the head of the purple-eyed black cat curled up in her lap. "Of course, you can pet any of them except Geto."
