When Jiang Zhou started her second year of high school, her bicycle broke. She remembered there was a repair shop at the entrance to the next alley, so she peered inside and wheeled her bike in to look for someone.
She didn't find anyone, but unexpectedly ran into a man with tattooed arms, smoking a cigarette.
Jiang Zhou jumped in fright and turned to run.
"Here to get your bike fixed, right?" The man's voice was low. His big hand caught the handlebars, spinning her and her bike around on the spot. "Uncle Chen, we've got a customer."
Jiang Zhou sneaked a glance up and saw scruffy stubble scattered across the man's sharp jaw.
Looking higher, she met a pair of narrow eyes with upturned corners.
Cang Che held a cigarette between his lips, the corners of his mouth lifting in a helpless smile.
"Kid, I'm a good person."
-
Cang Che was laid-back and carefree. For the first twenty-four years of his life, he had drifted along in a daze, always ready to die on some street corner.
He wasn't afraid of dying, so people were afraid of him. After living like a delinquent for so many years, Cang Che figured he'd keep right on living that way.
Until one day, Jiang Zhou grabbed him by the collar, and her teeth suddenly knocked against the girl's soft lips.
Her eyes shone brightly, with a whole river of stars hidden in them. Cang Che froze, realizing that he still had regrets.
Though mired in the mud, he wanted to reach for the clouds.
He had a tender place in his heart, and from then on, he wanted to live a proper life.
-
"My lip is bleeding!" Jiang Zhou licked her lip, accusing him before he could get a word in. "You bullied me, and you still say you're a good person?"
Cang Che looked at the bright red mark on the girl's lip and narrowed his eyes. "Kid, I'm not a good person."
"I'm reeeally, really bad."
"When a man knows why he lives, he can endure any way of life." - Nietzsche

Now that I've finished watching it, I'm as stunned as Zhou Zhou. I love it so much.
Really amazing!!!!! Too little, a bit unsatisfying, a novel that I can't forget.
Kindness? Why the sudden update? Kindness? Woman? I don't believe in pie-in-the-sky good things. Tell me, women, are their children going to open a book? Kindness? (President's face)
Cang Xiaohan's story! And the story of the bamboo horse! _(:з)∠)_Actually, I really want to see the daily life of Jiang's father and Jiang's mother. I find it very interesting.
It's been a long time since I've seen something so beautiful.

For the fourth time ^o^ I still want to watch the extra story about Yang Dachao. It's quite distressing?? I don't know if Zhou Zhou went to the wedding in the end.
Super super, lovely article, I like it>_
