The Dragon-Slaying Boy Becomes His Wife

Cheerful God of War bottom x gloomy Demon Dragon top

High schooler saves the world / illogical, fluffy romance

The year Shi Xu turned seventeen, his plain-as-water life blossomed into a second spring.

He made a pact with an elf and became... a magical boy.

Shi Xu: I'll accept the premise, but no sailor uniform.

To become a magical boy, he first had to defeat the evil Demon Dragon.

Shi Xu rushed off, only to discover...

The Demon Dragon was his childhood friend?

Shi Xu: ...That's too much.

He'd never won a fight against him, not once in his life.

Elf: How about you use the power of love?

Shi Xu: How?

Elf: Put on the sailor uniform.

Shi Xu: ...Get lost.

At long last, Shi Xu finally understood why his childhood friend was tall, got good grades, was handsome, paid attention in class, played basketball after school, went running at night, always got every homework question right, and came first in every exam.

Turns out he's a dragon! That explains it.

Demon Dragons shed their scales once a year. That's when they're at their most vulnerable.

Shi Xu decided to teach his childhood friend a lesson and show him the true meaning of human treachery.

So that night, he burrowed into his childhood friend's bed. When he saw the faint red-and-black scales on the other's profile, he fell silent.

Shi Xu: Holy crap, you're so handsome. Let me touch them.

Childhood friend: ...Go away.
