Hooray! The Cat Legion

[Main story complete, daily extra chapters] [Check out the author's other novel, The Goal Is to Own a Water Plant] Mimi is the cutest cat ghost in the world. Once raised by the god Arahabaki, she is beyond the control and surveillance of the Ghost King. She considers herself a cut above other ghosts and doesn't even take the Ghost King seriously. "What Ghost King? What Upper and Lower Ranks?" Mimi swishes her tail proudly. "I'm Chuya's favorite kitty! You lowly ghosts, get out of here!" She has nothing but contempt for the idea that ghosts eat people. A noble cat ghost would never eat a human! A cat ghost that's bitten a god and fought a god is invincible! With her owner's [crossed out]sucker's[crossed out] indulgence and pampering [crossed out]and daily fights[crossed out], Mimi flourishes, dreaming of the day she can ride on her owner's head and swagger around, throwing her weight about. Away from her owner, the cat ghost will venture into the world, conquer both humans and ghosts, and make cats the noblest species of all. After leading a gang of cats on adventures every day for a long time, Mimi realizes she can't afford to feed the whole family. "It's time to bring home some humans to raise cats for Mimi." The cat looks thoughtful.jpg [Cat stealthily observes] [Cat rolls around to get closer] [Cat tests the target] A cheerful man whose family runs a martial arts dojo, and his frail daughter? Perfect, turn them into cats. A girl wearing a butterfly hair clip, who looks gentle and sweet? Nice, she can become a cat. A man with flame-colored hair who looks like an owl? He'll do too. Turn him into a cat. After painstakingly digging them out of the earth, Mimi raises her tail high and paces back and forth in front of the group of people who've been given new life as cats. She solemnly announces, "From now on, you're all members of the Cat Army!" They were all people she worked hard to rescue from the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons. They all have to raise cats for her! Make the Cat Army grow! Tip: 1. The pairing is the Hat Guy mentioned in the blurb, and he is a true god. 2. Blurb revised. Latest version: 2022.08.25. 3. Everyone except the main love interest is just friends (cat-petting relationship). 4. The early background involves a certain yaksha; later, it shifts to demon-slaying. 5. Characters from Bungo Stray Dogs will appear as their past-life selves, such as yokai or gods. A quick recommendation for an upcoming novel: Cat Pillar Transmigrates and Gets a Job by Bumping into People By day, she is soft and helpless, like a doddering vine that can't withstand a storm and needs a sturdy tree to cling to in order to survive. By night, she's fierce and fiery, able to cut down evil demons in every direction with a single draw. She's known as the strongest, most fearsome flower among the current Nine Pillars. Ming Suixiang is a dual-personality swordswoman with a special constitution. Her personalities are vastly different by day and night, and anyone who sees both sides of her is astounded. Even though their personalities are so different, her daytime and nighttime selves share their memories. After accidentally transmigrating several centuries into the future, Ming Suixiang manages to live a stable life by bumping into kind strangers. Every day, she's soft and whimpering by daylight, unable to hold a kitchen knife steady, then fighting her way in and out of demon dens with her Nichirin Blade after nightfall. For a time, she thinks the "kind stranger" who took her in is a silly little brother: a purehearted boy who blushes when she teases him and bristles when she gets too close, practically leaping eight feet away. She never imagined that one day she'd be pinned against a wall by that purehearted boy. Theme: Building a harmonious life between humans and cats.
