What Should I Do After Drawing a God-Tier Healing Skill I Can't Use?

[After careful consideration, I've decided to close the comments on this book. Thank you to all the sweet readers who enjoyed Nai Nai and Zai's story. There is no drama or controversy; the author is simply too sensitive.] [Thank you to all the friendly, lovely, and gentle angels. Hope to see you again in another book.] After being reincarnated, unexpectedly gaining powerful skills, and receiving help from the reincarnation skill System, she should have been thrilled. But the problem was that the skill she got was Please Don't Die. "You drew an amazing skill, Host!" "Skills change based on the power system of the world you reincarnate into. Since this world has no supernatural abilities, [Please Don't Die] has automatically transformed into a technique to make it easier for you to use." "That sounds pretty good," she said hesitantly. "But the part about being on the brink of death does worry me." "How close to death do you have to be?" "You know, missing a few limbs, broken bones, with only a breath left in you!" "What if you're not that close to death?" The reincarnation skill System replied, "Then you can't use it!" "...So what do I do when I need to use it?" "Just get the person to the brink of death!" "..." . As her skill proficiency gradually increased, the System also rewarded her with all sorts of baffling items, such as: [A bloodstained bandage] [A little golden cube] [A metal tag covered in tally marks] [An old-fashioned gun] [A somewhat worn-out guitar] "The properties of the reward items are unknown. The System doesn't know what effects they might have, so the Host will have to investigate them herself." Nekozawa Nana tried to refuse. "Can I just not take these items?" "Reward items cannot be refused or discarded. They are summoning items. Host, please make good use of the System's rewards to survive better in your new world." "..." Notes: * The pairing is Boss Dazai. * The worlds will eventually merge. * Slow burn. The heroine will grow, but slowly. * Geto, the cult leader, will be saved. This is an unconventional rescue, so proceed with caution if that's not your thing. Here's a preview of my upcoming story, The Comeback Plan for Washed-Up Female Characters. As a veteran employee of the anime dimension bureau, Kirino Mirai was chosen by the director to take charge of the bureau's major new project because she was too "lucky": the Comeback Plan for Washed-Up Female Characters! There are many female characters in anime who once shone brightly and were loved by countless people, only to later become marginal background characters. The bureau's new project is designed to help them regain their popularity and return to the center of their anime series. The first character card Kirino Mirai drew was: [Red hair] [Annie's room] [Loneliness] [Tsundere] The clues were obvious. "I have to play washed-up female characters, build up their popularity, and get them back to the center of their series?" Kirino Mirai pointed at the character card she was supposed to play, [Lucy Montgomery], and asked in genuine confusion, "Was she ever in the spotlight?" The System replied solemnly, "She was the final boss at the end of the first season of the literary anime. Isn't that the spotlight?" Fine, that was convincing. "Playing a genuine member of the Black Organization in a detective anime without going out of character, and boosting the popularity of a washed-up female character..." Kirino Mirai asked again, "Are you serious?" They wanted her to boost the popularity of a washed-up female character while playing a villain, without going out of character. They were obviously making things difficult for her. The System continued talking nonsense. "In the literary anime, the character card has a history of reforming and joining the protagonists' side. If a character from the good guys' side is willing to give her a hand, a timely defection fits her personality and won't trigger the out-of-character penalty." She had reason to suspect the System was stringing her along. But she'd accepted the mission and drawn the card. No matter how much of a trap it was, she could only grit her teeth and see it through. After entering the detective anime as [Lucy Montgomery], the first call Kirino Mirai received was from the big boss, Gin, telling her to deal with an undercover agent. At this point, the detective anime's story was set four years before the main plot began. Theme: Saving others is also a way of saving yourself.
