A Little Childish

Ruan Xing, a little-known streamer, shot to fame overnight.

Clips from her livestream were uploaded to Weibo, and the comments and reposts shot past ten thousand in an instant.

In the livestream, Ruan Xing had been lounging lazily in her chair. After dying in a team fight, she glanced at the chat.

[How can a streamer this bad get matched with God R? She keeps following the marksman and feeding! Two noobs like you should stick to normal matches. What the hell are you doing playing ranked?]

The young woman in the video wasn't the least bit angry. She glanced at her 0-11 score, then calmly tapped “Got it” after receiving a message from the jungler saying, “Follow me.”

“So what if he's the number-one jungler on the server?” Ruan Xing lifted her petite chin and delivered the audacious line with a bright smile.

“Isn't he still crying and begging me to stop feeding?”

The chat fell silent for a moment, then erupted.

Later, Ruan Xing had no idea how Xu Mulan had ended up confessing to her.

The young man known as the number-one jungler on the server leaned down, trapping her securely in the corner of a sofa.

Beneath the dim yellow light, Xu Mulan lowered his raven-feather lashes. His eyes were dark and deep, brimming with emotions Ruan Xing couldn't understand.

“Ruan Xing.” The young man leaned closer, his voice low and seductive.

“Do you want to go out with me?”

Ruan Xing's mind went blank. The words escaped her before she could think: “Are you begging me?”

Xu Mulan paused, then smiled casually. But he looked her right in the eyes and answered seriously:

“Fine. I'm begging you.”

“The Server's Number-One Jungler and His Bronze-Rank Darling” “Go Out With Me, Little Noob, and Be Mine Alone” “Please Stop Feeding Me Kills, and Please Date Me” “The Blurb Is All Made Up. The Story Is Sweet, and If It's Not, You Can Hit Me”

The blurb was screenshotted and uploaded to Weibo on September 13, 2020.
