And so, you’ll see: A person with messy white hair shouting “Subarashi!” while using their incredible luck to summon disasters, fending off one enemy after another with a string of seemingly coincidental events. A pink-haired girl with twin tails twirling her hair in boredom as she causes yet another catastrophe in Yokohama. A purple-haired boy grinning as he negotiates with others to establish Yokohama’s fourth-largest faction. The Yokohama Detective Team makes its online debut, solving countless mysteries (Ranpo: “Sure, Saihara and Kirigiri are amazing, but Great Detective Ranpo is the world’s number one!”). Mini-scenes: Some white-haired person: “To preserve hope, I don’t mind becoming a stepping stone.” And so, a meteor suddenly falls from the sky and smashes into the enemy’s base. Trait: Twisted subjective luck Some pink-haired person: “This world is so rotten and dull. Despair is the only true destination.” And so, using psychological tactics to manipulate and sow discord, they drive countless people into pessimism. Trait: Precise control over people’s hearts ...The secret identities keep multiplying. Reader’s Guide 1. This is a virtual world. Everything the protagonist does is meant to break free of the world’s control. 2. The protagonist has no romantic pairing throughout, never has her secret identities exposed, and the timeline and plot include plenty of author-created changes. 3. The protagonist is a canon character, but I’ve added some original elements, so expect out-of-character moments. 4. The author is a beginner, so expect out-of-character moments.
