Wishing You Joy

1

Pei Qingyi was injured in a car accident and hit her head. When she woke up, her memories were stuck at age nineteen.

At that time, she had no interest in romance and lived freely.

The day before she was due to leave the hospital and get engaged to her fiance, she received several messages from a white lotus who apologized in writing but was really making a show of things:

"Sis, don't get the wrong idea. I was only accompanying your brother to the banquet as his assistant."

"There's nothing between your brother and me. Those rumors are all made up."

"This is all my fault. Sis, please don't misunderstand your brother or fight with him."

Pei Qingyi: "...?"

Faced with such a string of baffling messages, Pei Qingyi thought about it for a long time and still couldn't figure out what was going on, so she replied: There are so many wonderful older brothers. Which one are you talking about?

That very night,

her fiance, Shen Huaian, cornered her outside her home. His words were practically clenched between his teeth: "How many wonderful older brothers do you have?"

Shen Huaian and Pei Qingyi had been together for seven years.

He had grown used to Pei Qingyi's constant, unwavering presence, and had also grown tired of her picking fights over baseless suspicions and jealousy.

Only after things had been quiet for a long time did Shen Huaian realize something was wrong, but by then Pei Qingyi had already disappeared from his world.

His fiancee had regained her youthful energy, bright and bold. Once she was no longer Mrs. Shen, she shone like the sun.

But this sun no longer belonged to him.

Reading Guide

1. A melodramatic amnesia trope. She will regain her memories.

2. Reconciliation after a breakup, older woman/younger man romance. The male lead is two years younger than the female lead. The irresistible older sister leaves the scumbag male lead to chase after her.

3. I started writing this to relieve stress, so it won't be very long.

Theme: People should understand and respect one another. A relationship needs both people to work at it, or it won't last.
