This is a fictional setting, and the background is entirely made up by the author. The old-fashioned Mary Sue romance premise also means that many things won't make sense. 2. The scumbag emperor is the male lead. 3. The second male lead is the heroine's unattainable first love. 4. I'll do my best to tell this story well.
