The main story is complete. Please support the official version! My new novel, Madam Has Had Enough, is now underway. XOXO!
A gorgeous two-faced flirt who knows exactly how to charm people x a reserved, aloof monk who remains unmoved even with a beauty in his arms
Wen Sh Shui is the legitimate daughter of the current prime minister, born lovely and alluring. She should have lived a life of wealth and comfort.
Unfortunately, her mother died when she was young, and her stepmother never cared for her.
From then on, nothing went smoothly.
On her first trip to pray at a temple outside the capital, bandits took her hostage.
By chance, a passing monk rescued her.
Wen Shui Shui asked his Buddhist name, and the monk introduced himself as Yuan Kong.
The Buddha's chosen one, Yuan Kong, had entered the clergy by imperial decree after his birth mother angered the emperor and was killed.
Wen Shui Shui tugged at his prayer beads, her eyes brimming with attachment. "I feel especially close to you, Master."
Yuan Kong looked at her with pity.
The second time, someone pushed her into the water. The monk was sitting in a pavilion, fishing. She grabbed his hook from the water and looked up at him, on the verge of death, tears in her eyes.
The monk sighed and jumped in to pull her ashore.
Wen Shui Shui leaned against his shoulder and suddenly laughed coquettishly. "The willing take the bait."
The monk sat cross-legged in meditation, closed his eyes, and began to chant.
The third time, on the night of Wen Shui Shui's wedding, her husband eloped with someone else, leaving her sitting alone in the bridal chamber, gazing from afar at the monk in the courtyard.
Later, the Wen family fell into ruin, and Wen Shui Shui was sent to the Buddhist hall in the Eastern Palace.
One day, as she copied scriptures in her room, Yuan Kong broke down the door.
Her gaze fell on his long hair. "Your Highness the Crown Prince abducts people on a whim, without even asking whether I am willing."
He gripped her hand tightly. "Come back with me."
Wen Shui Shui held her brush and dotted a red beauty mark at the corner of his eye, teasing, "Back to your meditation room?"
Yuan Kong: "..."
Warnings!!!!!
(1) The monk becomes the Crown Prince later on. The heroine has dissociative identity disorder. Her primary personality is obedient, frail, and pitiful; her other personality is seductive, alluring, and highly aggressive.
(2) One-on-one romance! Both are virgins, happy ending.
Please add my new novel, Madam Has Had Enough, to your reading list
When Yu Wanyao married Lu Heng, she was told that she had to give the Lu family a child, whose umbilical cord blood would be used as medicine for Lu Heng's sickly younger sister, who was not related to him by blood.
Yu Wanyao knew full well that the Lu family was far above her station.
The Lu family was prominent and powerful. Lu Heng was the legitimate son of the Marquis of Weiyuan and held the post of Minister of the Court of Judicial Review, with a brilliant future ahead of him.
His younger sister was the daughter of the Duke of Yingguo, lost to the family and raised outside it. Lu Heng's stepmother had spoiled her since childhood, and all that remained was for the Duke of Yingguo to claim her.
Yu Wanyao was merely the daughter of a salt merchant from Jiangnan. Her father and brother had been falsely accused of selling illegal salt and thrown into prison, where they could be executed at any moment.
But she needed Lu Heng's help to clear their names.
She and the Lu family were simply using one another. Lu Heng was cold-hearted and distant, aloof and indifferent. He only came to her room on a fixed day each month, and never stayed the night.
Even so, she did her best to keep up appearances. Once she had given birth, it wouldn't matter if he wanted a divorce.
Later, she finally became pregnant. It should have been a happy occasion, but she accidentally learned the truth.
If the child was born, it would not survive.
As his wife, she was no longer useful, and she would have to give way to that younger sister. She would be stripped of her status as a wife, reduced to a servant, and sold off.
The night wind howled as she boarded a boat bound for Jiangnan. When she looked back, she saw the man chasing after her along the shore, calling for her to return.
Yu Wanyao wiped away her tears and decided to tell him the truth. "I won't be your wife anymore. I'm going back to Jiangnan. We owe each other nothing."
But he kept calling to her until his voice was hoarse. This man was so strange, hot and cold by turns. She had never been able to understand him, and no longer wanted to try.
When the boat sank, Lu Heng plunged into the water.
**
The Lu family had lost its Madam. Lu Heng fell seriously ill and became a widower.
Half a year later, the Duke of Yingguo found his true daughter. At a spring banquet, Lu Heng saw her. She was alluring and noble, calmly enjoying the attentions of the man beside her, without sparing Lu Heng even a glance.
Warnings!
(1) Angsty, satisfying dog-blood drama, with a groveling husband trying to win back his wife, a true-versus-fake heiress plot, and a heroine who runs away while pregnant.
(2) An aloof, untouchable male lead x a delicate Jiangnan beauty (the true heiress).
(3) One-on-one romance, both are virgins, happy ending.
(4) Please don't curse at the author. Please, please don't.
Theme: Even when your body is ill, keep facing the sun.
Love it, this article written by the author is amazing!!
After reading the whole story, I like the parrot with the broken beak the most, hahaha
The writing style of Dada is very unique... It's funny to the end... Shui Shui is really miserable. Fortunately, he encountered redemption, but after reading it, I feel tired for the master.
Congratulations on the big completion! Actually, I really like stories where the male protagonist is a monk, hehe
It's okay to call me daddy, hahaha, Shuishui is so silly.
Hahahaha, why do the father and son look so happy?
This combination of monk and monster happens to be my favorite type... But it's just a short story QAQ
The extra plot of Xianxia Parallel World is so interesting, it would be great if it could be expanded.
It took me half a year to watch the extra episode, hahaha, it ended like a charm
Hey, there's a side story! Happy Mid-Autumn Festival
