There are people in this world whose brains have been kissed by the gods. They can read the heavens and make perfect predictions every time. Other than that, they have just one other skill: attracting filthy things.

Xun Ruosu sets up a little stall on Old Street. She only tells three fortunes a day, predicting good fortune but not bad, happy events but not sorrow. If she earns a couple of coins, she can get by. If not, she goes hungry. She takes life as it comes.

Then, with her end drawing near, Xun Ruosu climbs into a coffin ahead of time to wait for death. But smoke suddenly rises from the Xun family's ancestral graves, and a beautiful woman dressed in red climbs out. She claims to be Xue Tong, the King of Transmigration from the Tenth Hall.

The beauty shakes her coffin with all her might. "Get up, get up! You can't sleep here!"

Xun Ruosu: "...I'm not sleeping. I'm closing my eyes for good."

From then on, Xun Ruosu is stuck with a troublesome life of "when there's a problem, exorcise the client's troubles; when there's no problem, make one up so you can exorcise it."
