[The next story, Obituary, is now open for follows. Please add it to your reading list!]
After Xuan Ling died, someone dug her up and made her into a little puppet.
The little puppet was a beautiful but useless young woman who always relied on others for protection. She couldn't even avenge herself.
Her senior brother told her to hurry down the mountain, leaving behind a "once-in-a-generation genius" who rode her sword headfirst into the ground and only brought shame to the sect.
Her second senior sister advised her to give up martial arts and take up embroidery. The "one-of-a-kind oddball" found all eighteen kinds of weapons too hot to handle and could only manage a sewing needle.
Her junior brother gave her three taels of silver to buy a begging bowl. Since she couldn't accomplish anything, she might as well beg in the streets.
As it turned out, she was merely a specialist with a very narrow skill set. She could flatten a mountain in an instant, so the successive sect leaders of the immortal mountain began repeatedly sitting up and lying down at the mercy of her every move. To protect their home, they stayed right behind her, reducing her destructive power to zero.
And so their daily routine became:
Late Sect Leader A: Who's smashing the foundations again?!
Late Sect Leader B: Who's summoning heavenly lightning again?!
Late Sect Leader C: Who's got the nerve to turn the world upside down?!
Current Sect Leader Yun Shiwei: It's our little puppet.
The late sect leaders wept bitterly: "Please rein in her powers!"
Yun Shiwei dug a silly girl out of a grave and stitched her back together, turning her into a little puppet.
Before long, the little puppet became a legend, remembered for generations and revered by all, though her mind still couldn't quite keep up.
Xuan Ling (lying flat): Thanks for digging me up. My wish has now been fulfilled, so you can bury me again.
Yun Shiwei: What do you do when the person you love just doesn't get it? It's been hundreds of years. This is painful.
A brave and fearless little puppet who devotes herself to proving the Dao x a lazy, death-faking true immortal who only wants to enjoy retirement
Recommended: my friend's upcoming novel, After Getting the Dowager Empress Pregnant, by You Kun
1. Gu Yeshan is the beautiful and dashing descendant of a family of loyal ministers, and the young general trusted by everyone in the Kingdom of Yan.
One day, however, the young empress dowager arrives at her door, pregnant, and tells her she's carrying the Gu family's child.
A bolt from the blue!
Gu Yeshan feels like a scoundrel who has let down her ancestors.
But the young empress dowager is simply irresistible.
She decides to keep being a scoundrel, preferably for the rest of her life.
2. To consolidate his power, the Emperor of Yan marries a princess from Beili.
Before the princess can even enter the imperial palace, the emperor dies, and his empress becomes the dowager empress.
The young empress dowager is violent, spoiled, and ruthless.
Everyone respects her, everyone fears her. Only General Gu, who swears up and down that she's absolutely loyal, climbs into the phoenix bed every night to embrace, bite, and kiss the empress dowager.
Young empress dowager: "You damned rebel! Traitor! Are you going to cuckold the late emperor?"
The young general silently pulls back.
The heady, intoxicating scent of a Heavenly Qian fills the air.
The young empress dowager immediately wilts and grabs the general, her voice hoarse. "Traitor, let's put another green hat on the late emperor."
Historical ABO setting.
A: Heavenly Qian. B: Zhongyong. O: Earthly Kun.
A general who appears sweet but is dark inside x an empress dowager who appears dark but is sweet inside
The gong disrespects the imperial throne and is born bad.
Theme: Life is hard, but never give up
Finished. I feel that the emotional line in this book is more complicated than that in the divination book, probably because the divination story uses interjections, and the pain of Xue Tong's secret love is all in the memories. In the early stages of this book, I found Little Puppet really sad to love, brave and cautious. As long as Little Puppet was a normal person, I would think this line should be. But the author's writing style is really good, and the main plot settings have their own style. Where they torture, they torture people to death, and where they laugh, they make people laugh to death. It would be better to write more emotional lines. After reading both books, I felt that it was a bit superficial. Obviously the emotional lines are also well written, sweet and charming. When can I write some desserts to feed the children? This writing style really makes me want to read sweet stories!
The little puppet is so honest, hahaha, a mouthful of dog food
I have always felt sorry for the founder of Tianque (;_;)
I always feel that Mo Qian is so contradictory. Killing to save others Harm the innocent to save the innocent
How do maggots become sperm?!
The overall plot is pretty good, with some surprising aspects. But compared to the previous foreshadowing, I always felt that the second half was too simple, especially for the villains. Although the logic of the actions was reasonable, I felt that there could have been more words and ink, and the plot at the end could be fuller.
Ah, ah, ah, it's not enough. It's so beautiful. My ventilator is on. I've finished reading it again.
He is a bit weird as a villain. When he goes back in time, he doesn't know if it's an illusion, but he doesn't even know how to go back, so he starts plotting. . . Crazy indeed
The ending is satisfying and just right. Half of them were destined to practice Taoism and half of them were destined to be kings, and now their merits are perfect.
Extra story, it can't be explained without the extra story, woo woo woo
