The Silly Side Character Is Too Stingy

Shu You is transported into a book as a greedy, hypocritical, selfish cannon-fodder love interest. The original character got together with the male lead for his money, then abandoned him when he fell on hard times. In the end, he wound up in a foreign country and died a horrible death. At the very moment Shu You arrives, he's dragging a suitcase and viciously berating the male lead, who is trying to stop him from leaving. “You think you're still the eldest young master of the Lin family? No! You're just a penniless loser now!” Behind him, the male lead's gaze turns gloomy as he clenches his fists. “...So we'll have to watch our spending! I'll sell everything we don't need right away!” Lin Mingxu: ??? In his previous life, Shu You was nicknamed the stingy dragon. He looks at the original character's extravagantly expensive designer bags, luxury clothes, and diamond ring with a pained, disapproving stare. “These, these, and these... Sell them all!” Only money can make me feel truly safe! All he wants is money! Once the male lead meets the male lead's love interest and initiates a breakup, Shu You can take his money and go back to happily living the life of a single miser! What Shu You doesn't know is that Lin Mingxu has been reborn. When the weather turns cold, Lin Mingxu admits he can't afford the heating bill, expecting Shu You to leave once he can't take it anymore. Shu You is delighted. “Why pay such an expensive heating bill? We'll just lie together and use two extra blankets!” When the weather heats up, a villain comes by to taunt them. Lin Mingxu looks icy, hoping to see Shu You leave without a word. Shu You flips the table. “Ever heard of the consumerist trap? How tacky! How could someone like you, brainwashed by capitalism, possibly understand?” Lin Mingxu, using an electric blanket for the first time: “...” What is this thing? It's way too hot! He's definitely not getting a nosebleed from looking at Shu You! Later, Lin Mingxu can't keep up the act anymore. He takes Shu You to the company, hinting that he's no longer poor and Shu You doesn't need to be so frugal. Shu You turns and sees the original love interest, then realizes what's going on. “Don't worry, I'll leave right away without making a fuss!” Lin Mingxu: “...Wait. Once this meeting's over, let's go get our marriage license.” Shu You: “Why? What's wrong with the male lead's love interest?” Lin Mingxu: “...He orders four dishes at every meal and uses too many tissues.” Shu You: ??? ...Wait, what? Weren't you the one who said he was cheerful, generous, and not stingy? Theme: Don't run away. Be brave enough to express yourself in love, and honestly share your feelings and thoughts.
