I’m a Villain in Gotham (Western Crossover)

Auberist was a wicked dragon born of the darkness of the Abyss, but in the end, he was drawn to the Dark Knight and submitted beneath his cape. After the Dark Knight died because the dragon had failed to protect him, Auberist turned back time and returned to the age of seven. Auberist: ... Did time rewind a little too far?! Once he'd accepted the facts, Auberist resolved to protect his young master. For this, he created three secret identities. One would stay by young Bruce's side as an older companion and friend; another would become a superhero and protect everyone, preventing history from repeating itself. And the last would be his true self: Auberist would become a villain, shrouding himself in darkness to keep Gotham stable. At first, everything went according to plan. One version of him would watch Bruce grow up, another would support and help the superhero who hadn't yet come into his own, and the last would bear all the blame and scorn, becoming Gotham's terror. Auberist couldn't become Gotham's Dark Knight, but he could still use his powers to make Gotham afraid. He would turn Gotham into a dragon's lair, and keep Bruce on this timeline safe and sound. Auberist happily watched his master grow up safe and sound, day by day. Then one day, his young master suddenly remembered. Auberist: Are you kidding me??? Seriously, I became a villain to keep Gotham stable, and only then did you remember everything??? Little scene: After becoming a villain, Auberist kept going further and further down the road of winning the superheroes' favor. Until one day, the heroes got together to chat: Superman: “He saved my adoptive father.” The Flash: “He saved my mom!” Iron Man: “Well... he saved my parents.” Spider-Man: “H-he saved my uncle!” Captain America: “He saved my best friend.” Then they realized that this “he” was one and the same person. The superheroes: !!! This story is also called: *Today, I'm Still Doing Whatever It Takes to Protect My Secret Identities* *Stop Digging! My Secret Identities Are Really Going to Be Exposed!* The blurb might sound a little mysterious, but this is a cozy, healing slice-of-life story! And thanks to the time difference, a lot of tragedies can be avoided, like Bruce and Tony's parents, Jason, Superman's adoptive father, and Spider-Man's uncle... Note: The timeline is chaotic, and there are original details. This Western Crossover fanfic is mostly sweet, though a few bugs may appear. There are lots of little Easter eggs in the story. Finding them is a fun bonus, but missing them won't affect your reading. Readers who find the Easter eggs will get a reward! Pairing: Bruce. A controlling man and someone who willingly offers him their heart, what's not to love? And later, Bruce will remember his past life and everything he once did to Auberist. Repeat after me: the relationships between the superheroes are all friendship [emphasis]! Up next: *After Becoming a Wayne, I Got My Happy Ending with Batman* [Western Crossover] As a light mage, Arig was the most gifted follower of the God of Light on the continent of magic. His handsome face inspired people of every age and gender to donate generously to the church. One day, he was struck by necromantic magic. When he woke up, he found five heads gathered around him: one old and four young. When they saw his eyes open, all five beamed. “My lord/Bruce/Father, you're awake!” Arig: ??? After waking up in a different world with a different identity, Arig was faced with one piece of good news and one piece of bad news: The good news was that he looked exactly like this world's Wayne playboy, so he didn't need to worry about being exposed just yet. The bad news was that this playboy turned into a huge black bat at night. Arig looked at the cape the old butler handed him and fell into deep thought: ... One day, superheroes and supervillains around the world noticed that Gotham's Dark Knight had changed. He stood among a group of battered criminals, his expression solemn, his whole body glowing with holy light. In a reverent voice, he said, “Children of sin, may the God of Light cleanse your souls.” The criminals' wailing and his devout prayer formed a harmonious duet. The superheroes and supervillains who witnessed the scene: ? The Dark Knight finally returned from the Land of the Dead, only to find one piece of good news and one piece of bad news waiting for him: The bad news was that some mysterious guy who looked exactly like him was doing a booming business, and the Dark Knight's reputation had taken a hit. The good news was that he seemed to be a mage. He could heal people and perform resurrection magic. A while later, the Dark Knight realized that he'd actually received two pieces of good news from the start. Then everything changed. The whole world was moved to tears when the Dark Knight returned to normal, only to discover that he kept flipping back and forth between normal and completely unhinged. Meanwhile, Mr. Wayne of Gotham was sometimes sweet and debauched, sometimes austere and restrained, switching seamlessly between the two extremes. Once everyone realized what was going on, they glared at Two-Face. Two-Face: ??? What does this have to do with me?! The Joker, head of the fan club: Cut the crap. He must have learned to split his personality from you! In short, this is a goofy little sweet treat.
