An Atypical TRPG Campaign Log

[This story is abandoned for now. It's a huge hole, and it will be completed, but updates come about once a year. Don't start reading, don't start reading. Wait until it's finished!] [The author started a business. It hasn't succeeded yet, but the company hasn't gone under either, so things are miserable and I'm still struggling. If I ever come back to update, it'll mean either I've achieved complete financial freedom or the company has gone bankrupt.] [The male lead is Shoggoth, an eldritch tentacle monster, a non-human character.] One-sentence summary: You pick up a tentacle monster cub and raise it as both father and mother in a legendary tale. It ultimately turns into a disaster when the little brat you raised eats you in one bite. You are swept into a live-action tabletop role-playing game. Your teammates are: A Mary Sue who charms people at the drop of a hat. A traitor who stabs you in the back without a second thought. A godlike teammate who breaks the fourth wall after barely three sentences. A role-playing-game machine that rolls constantly but never role-plays. You must face: Cultists who spend every day trying to summon evil gods. All sorts of evil gods whose arrival wipes out the whole party. Various indescribable, inhuman creatures. NPCs who have read the script. A System that has always been mouthy and never been outdone. Besides that, you also have to: Take care of the tentacle monster you picked up from the start. Feed it, raise it, and dote on it. Teach it how to behave. Teach it how to handle things. Set a good example and teach it how to get freaky (delete that). Levi: Can I quit this game? I just want to do it with the last one. You start with one tentacle monster. Everything else depends on rolling with your face: heaven for Europeans, hell for Africans. Cover artist: Moshin Wukong. [My friend Ahonghong's new story: The Dorm Supervisor's Job Is No Easy Ride [ABO] Su Jie transmigrates. She goes from being an ordinary female college student in the 21st century to a female beta with a dick in an ABO world. Lured by the salary, she applies to the Atreus Royal Military Academy. By a twist of fate, she becomes a dorm supervisor, er, a life-skills teacher. But why, heavens, do all these alphas want to bite the back of her neck?] [Readers who buy the complete story get a bonus. No late claims. Not recommended for binge-reading later. The plot and characters connect across modules, so this isn't a conventional collection of separate stories. Not recommended to skip around!] Theme: Is it a mistake to pursue materialism in a Cthulhu world?
