In the Palm of Your Heart

[No inspiration for now. Dropped, don't read]

[Serious blurb]

● Jing University is the highest-ranked school in our country, and Zang University is too. If you round things off, that means we're together. -- Li Jing

● You're at the highest altitude, and you're also in the place closest to my heart. -- Lu Ke

A boy is determined to get into the highest-ranked school so he can catch up with the person he likes. Things don't go quite as planned, but at least it has a happy ending, right?

[The inspiration came from a dream I had. The blurb below is what happened in the dream. At first I wanted to write a short story of no more than 20,000 characters, so the opening is a little nonsensical, though maybe kind of addictive. For now, I'll just write wherever the story takes me.]

The original title was The Top Student Gave Me a Seductive Smile

Li Jing is a poor student. He likes a cool, aloof top student and hangs around in front of him every day. Then one day, Li Jing sees the top student give him a seductive smile in the cafeteria...

Li Jing: ?!! Oh my god! Give me back my cold, aloof top student!

Theme: Work hard to catch up with the person you like
