When the CEO Meets Green River’s Editorial Review

The author has been driven mad by the review process, and suddenly a dark impulse took hold...

[Blurb]

Lu Shun, the new generation head of a wealthy family in City A, had a life as smooth as his name suggested. Everything went his way, until he encountered Green River's submission review.

It started when Lu Shun bantered with his childhood friend, Ye Yu.

Ye Yu: If you're so amazing, go submit to Green River. If you get approved, I'll call you Dad.

Lu Shun: Hah, Green River? Anyone with hands can do it.

Ye Yu: If you can do it, then do it. If you can't, stop running your mouth.

Ye Yu's disdainful look roused Lu Shun's competitive spirit. He was going to show Ye Yu just how amazing he was!

But...

Lu Shun stared at the rejection message for his submission and fell silent...

Hah, Green River, you've got my attention.

His next submission was rejected, and Lu Shun fell silent again...

Hah, Green River, you're playing with fire.

After the third rejection, Lu Shun stood by the floor-to-ceiling window in his office, gazing outside with three parts mockery, two parts cold indifference, and five parts nonchalance. "The weather's getting cold. Green River should go bro, "

Before he could finish his threat, his assistant interrupted him. "Sorry, CEO, half of Green River's shares are held by the son of the neighbor of the daughter-in-law of your second uncle's third uncle..."

Lu Shun: "So what does that have to do with me?"

Assistant: "His net worth is about the same as yours, so your plan to bankrupt him won't work."

Lu Shun: ...

Lu Shun looked up information online and did some research. He thought he was ready, but...

Four rejections in a row!

Lu Shun: Hah, you insignificant Green River. I advise you not to be ungrateful.

At his wit's end, Mr. Lu asked his childhood friend for help. With everyone's cooperation, he achieved five rejections in a row, this time because he'd used the wrong tags and submitted to the wrong category.

Lu Shun: Damn it!

Theme: Never give up.
