The Vicious Male Supporting Character Is a Cat [Book Transmigration]

Blurb archived on 2020.3.27

A lonely city dweller and his beloved kitten.

"I'm just a city rat, and you're my one and only kitten."

Blurb to be revised.

Lin Yu transmigrates into an entertainment-industry novel and obtains a villainous male supporting character system to keep himself alive.

Following the System's instructions, he has to play the villainous supporting role, torment the aloof male lead who will become an international rock superstar, and ultimately earn a favorability score of -100.

Lin Yu flips through the script.

A thoroughly wicked, ruthless schemer who steals opportunities and hurls insults, an ever-present stumbling block on the male lead's path through life.

Also a beautiful, wealthy heiress of noble birth, adored by everyone, yet always one step behind the protagonist, who eventually turns evil.

Lin Yu nods. The script is right up his alley, but...

"System, how is a cat supposed to play a villainous male supporting character?"

*

The first mission: create a hostile public opinion environment for the male lead.

In spring, Lin Yu leads a group of female cats to the building where the male lead lives and has them meow mournfully all night.

Lin Yu: The male lead must be really annoyed with me.

System: You chased the mice out of the male lead's home. His favorability toward you is up by 5.

Lin Yu: ...

The second mission: make the male lead experience the fickleness of human nature.

In summer, Lin Yu sits on the wall outside the male lead's home every morning, greeting him with an arrogant smile that is three parts contempt, three parts iciness, and four parts disdain.

Lin Yu: The male lead must be furious with me.

System: "What could an adorable kitten possibly be up to?" His favorability toward you is up by 5.

Lin Yu: ...

The third mission: become a stumbling block on the male lead's path.

In autumn, Lin Yu throws himself at the male lead's feet, intending to trip him before making his escape...

Then a sack is thrown over his head.

Lin Yu: The male lead must want to hit me.

System: "The kitten must want me to adopt him." His favorability toward you is up by 5.

Lin Yu: ...

Then, during his heat, Lin Yu's secret is exposed and he transforms into a human. With a pair of cat ears on his head, he is cornered by the male lead.

Male lead: The person who got up in the middle of the night and hit me for four hours... No, the cat was you?

Lin Yu: ...Yes.

Male lead: The one who secretly called the director and badmouthed me with a bunch of "meows" was you?

Lin Yu: ...Yes.

Male lead: The transmigrator who was assigned to sabotage me from childhood as a villainous supporting character was you?

Lin Yu: ...Yes.

Lin Yu's ears tremble as he tries to run, but the male lead grabs him by the scruff of his neck.

Lin Yu: I'm going to die.

System: The male lead's favorability toward you is up by 100.

Lin Yu: ??
