[ABO] Taking Your Place

What an outrageous title! A literal stand-in for the sun!

The protagonist and his older brother are twins. The protagonist is a defective Alpha, while his brother is an Omega. They have identical features, but the protagonist looks colder, gloomier, and more restrained. Their parents have both died, so they have no choice but to take their inheritance and seek refuge with distant relatives. Those relatives belong to the fourth branch of a powerful family. The family is full of ruthless infighting, and the relatives have sinister intentions too: they want to kill the twins and seize their inheritance.

The fourth branch is relatively weak within the family. The most formidable person in the family is the eldest legitimate son of the first branch. He's exceptionally capable, doesn't let anyone get close, and shows no interest in anyone sexually. He's likely to become the family's future head, so they call him Big Brother. Next is the spoiled, pampered playboy, the second son of the second branch. The second and fourth branches are both full of playboys. Besides the family fortune, they're also interested in the twins and want to have their way with the Omega brother. After all, the protagonist is an Alpha. The protagonist is an Alpha too, but an accident involving his parents also left him defective. He can't be a normal Alpha for the rest of his life. He wants to protect his brother, so he grits his teeth and begins plotting in the shadows, planning to take his brother's place. If they want to play, they can play with him instead. After all, an Alpha can't get pregnant. The story was supposed to lead into some kind of multiple-partner plot, but due to a series of mix-ups, the protagonist ends up in Big Brother's bed.
