I Want to Drink Bourbon

[This is a 2020 story. When I started writing, the official sources hadn't explained many of the details, so the story has a lot of plot holes. Fixing them would require rewriting large sections, so I couldn't be bothered. Read with caution if that bothers you.] That day, a small clinic suddenly opened downstairs from the detective agency. There was only one doctor on staff, a young woman with remarkable medical skills. By day, she was a taciturn angel in white. At night, she was a butcher who roamed the edge of darkness. No one knew where she came from or what she was after. ◆ The female lead is highly intelligent but not much of a fighter.* ◆ Before her identity is revealed, the early story features many battles of wits. Coming next: The Bottom Student at Police Academy Conquers the Top Student After Arisu Sangetsu, whose original name was Sangetsu, became bound to the Rebirth System, she resolutely chose the Police Academy Group from among the many names on the sacrifice list in Detective Conan. System: "Congratulations, Host. You've chosen the four people with the highest and most difficult success levels on the entire sacrifice list. Success rate: 0.00001. Failure rate: 99.99999." Sangetsu: "Can I still change my choice?" On the first day of police academy, Arisu Sangetsu, ranked last, and a certain dark-skinned student, ranked first and serving as student representative, made a lasting impression on the entire academy. Dark-skinned student: "I will fulfill my duties, maintain public order, and strictly abide by the police academy's rules." Sangetsu: "It's already lunchtime. Hurry up and finish so I can get my food." The academy's top student ranked first in combat, shooting, and every other subject. The student ranked last came in at the bottom in law and physical fitness. Sangetsu asked the question that was on her mind: Do these people really need saving? But after Sangetsu had accepted her role as a ditzy beauty, even she couldn't help noticing that the last-place student's fitness wasn't that bad, her aim wasn't that far off, and her intelligence wasn't that low. Dark-skinned student: "There's more to your identity than meets the eye." Sangetsu: "I'm really stupid. I'm not lying to you." Dark-skinned student: "Then why did that white-haired man in black call you Daiquiri?" Sangetsu leaned close to his ear. "Wait, who did you say?"
