I Wanted to Farm, but I Was Forced to Become the Demon King

Song Huan accepted a mission called the "Wasteland Seed-Fire Project."

In short, she had to reclaim barren land.

And once the job was done, she would receive tens of billions in wealth.

Song Huan: It's not about the money. I just like farming.

But when she was air-dropped at her destination, she realized there was a good reason this mission was worth tens of billions.

An endless expanse of white desert, a desolate, gloomy stone castle, and a single well were all this land had to offer.

No life, no seeds, no water.

This place was barer than her face.

But no matter. For the sake of those billions, no, as a proud member of the shovel-wielding proletariat, she could grow crops in a little desert, or even plant potatoes on Mars!

Beat up every local ruffian who tried to get in her way, and she'd have not just land, but people to work it!

And so the evil creatures living nearby were horrified to discover that a new tyrant had arisen in this long-abandoned, terrifying wasteland.

[Veni, vidi, vici! (I came, I saw, I conquered!)]

Song Huan: ? Maybe everyone's got the wrong idea about me. As a successor to socialism, how could I possibly do something as evil as the things only capitalist villains do? After all, my greatest hobby is growing scallions in a foam box.

The oak dryad, forced to eat nothing but vegetables from the foam box: I don't dare say anything. Do you? .jpg
