[The King's Avatar] What's Wrong with a Retired Pro Wanting to Win the Championship?

Tang Xin is beautiful, has a sweet voice, and is highly skilled. Back when Glory first launched, she was one of the top players who caused a huge stir on Server One, turning everything upside down wherever she went. Sadly, Tang Xin announced her retirement after the second season and vanished without a trace. The growing professional scene swept away the last echoes of her fame. Whenever it came up, Tang Xin would just laugh and joke that if she'd stuck around, she could easily have become one of the old-timer stars of the pro scene. Then, ten years later, Tang Xin saw Ye Qiu, the player behind the Battle God, One Autumn Leaf, announce his retirement. In a fit of impulsiveness, Ms. Tang packed her suitcase and ran away from home for the second time, now at the ripe old age of twenty-six. At three in the morning, she stood outside Team Excellent Era in the bitter cold of winter in H City, overcome with memories. She ducked into the nearby Happy Internet Cafe, only to find the retired Battle God himself working there as a manager and using the cafe's internet to set dungeon records on company time. Tang Xin felt like she'd wasted her sincere feelings on a dog. She nearly grabbed Ye Qiu, who had changed his name to Ye Xiu, and beat him up with a flurry of punches. As for how things went from a real-life brawl to her joining Team Happy, Tang Xin thinks it was mainly because Ye Xiu's honeyed words were just too convincing. She'll never get over her dismal exit from the scene that summer when she was eighteen, or the two championships that slipped through her fingers. Everything for Glory, everything for the championship. Reader's guide: * A whole-cast Mary Sue dream-girl story. No need to rush to pick a favorite. * Glory is the true male lead.
