[Ultraman] This Paper Person Doesn't Want to Fight Monsters Today

Ever since Han Luyao learned at the age of five that Titan monsters lived in the world, she had been determined to become a scientist who could get close to and study these prehistoric beasts. When she was twenty-five, she applied for an overseas assignment and followed Godzilla's trail all the way to San Francisco. After witnessing the battle between the Titan monsters with her own eyes, she understood that this was far too close for humans. She rescued a frightened child who was trapped beneath the rubble, only to be buried herself by the collapsing debris the next second. Godzilla's tail swept up dust and stones, brushing past her eyes. In her brief life, this was the closest she had ever come to the Titan monster she was obsessed with. As she closed her eyes, she hazily saw a brilliant light seep into her body. "Earthling, open your eyes. I am Ultraman Zero." Han Luyao: ? Wait, she likes Titan monsters, sure, but she never wanted to become a Titan giant!???? And you're not even a native species! What inhuman thing are you planning to do to me, the last surviving member of Earth's endangered native species???? Well, to be fair, the view of Godzilla from this angle really is pretty good. * Zero ran into the most difficult, yet familiar, problem he had faced since becoming an Ultra Warrior. It seemed that this time, the person he had chosen as his human host wasn't exactly willing to become an Ultra Warrior either. But that was all right. He had plenty of experience persuading (forcing) his human hosts to accept becoming Ultra Warriors. ...It was just that this time, the process of persuading (forcing) her was a little more difficult. But that was all right too. There are no difficult human hosts to transform, only Ultramen who don't try hard enough. Reader's guide: * Writing this out of love, just to feed myself * Godzilla + Ultraman. So far, I've only seen the Godzilla movies, so I'll probably only cover the films * Expect plenty of headcanon and plot holes * Probably gen...though it might turn into a romance! (optimistic.jpg) * I need lots of comments and affection. A reader in a tiny fandom weeps as she writes for herself Theme: Protecting endangered animals is everyone's responsibility
