No Cats Allowed in the Ke School Dorm!

[Warning: This story contains many implausible premises and deus ex machina plot devices. When writing it, the author lacked both the knowledge and familiarity with Detective Conan's Police Academy arc, so it's a story that grew out of a pile of bugs.]

[New readers are advised not to start this one. It'll be better for everyone.]

I am a wanderer traveling through time and space. During one of my journeys, I entered a place people called the Police Academy dormitory, where I was cornered in a room. To avoid causing too much chaos, I had a flash of inspiration and transformed into a cat.

The five burly men who rushed in: ? What? The dorm supervisor turned into a cat?

The Onizuka class held a meeting late into the night to debate whether I should stay. The blond, dark-skinned guy and the black-haired guy with curls argued so fiercely over their differing opinions that they nearly came to blows. The others not only failed to stop them, but even took sides.

As the culprit, I paid no attention to what they were arguing about. I sprawled comfortably on a human pillow. Hehe, what could a little cat possibly be up to? .jpg

As it turned out, I started living a shamelessly happy life here, mooching food and lodging.

My human caretakers had never owned a cat, but that was okay. It was my first time being a cat, too.

None of us knew what we were doing, but we could make do and get by, right?

Besides, the gentle guy with catlike eyes took great care of me,

the curly-haired guy who always looked grumpy brought me food every day,

the handsome guy with shoulder-length hair loved playing with cat grass with me,

and the big guy always managed to hide me as soon as the dorm supervisor came around.

...Oh, right, and that blond, dark-skinned guy. You see my cat paw? Guess where it'll be next?

All in all, life at the police academy was pretty pleasant.

I thought it would go on like this forever, until one day, when I was taking a breather in human form, someone grabbed me by the scruff of my neck.

I think I can explain. Sobbing.jpg

"Don't Treat Scotland as a Substitute," focused on the Morofuchi brothers, Detective Conan only. Synopsis:

The first time Hiromitsu Morofushi met Cherry Brandy, she asked him if he wanted to be her lover.

To keep his undercover mission running smoothly, Hiromitsu reluctantly agreed. He never imagined that, while they were getting close, he would hear his own brother's name from her lips.

That's when he realized he was a substitute for the man she loved, his brother in Nagano, in the eyes of this wicked woman.

The conflicted undercover agent couldn't help asking what exactly was going on between her and his brother.

But the girl pressed close to his ear and replied in a lingering, breathy voice, "Why are you upset? Weren't you with me for the mission?"

You use me as a stepping stone, and I use you as a substitute. That's fair, isn't it?

Yes, if it were all fake, it would be fair.

But he loves her.
