The Remarkable Miss Boming

On her seventh birthday, Bo Mingyue Xun made a wish over her cake: she wanted to be free forever. Free to wear the clothes she liked, make the friends she liked, and do anything she wanted. On the day after her seventh birthday, Bo Mingyue Xun was forced to leave Seattle, where she had lived for seven years, and move to Shonan, Japan, with her father, who had been transferred there. Bo Mingyue Xun: ... So much for birthday wishes coming true! * Fortunately, after arriving in Shonan, Bo Mingyue Xun quickly made two friends. The three of them beat up the Kamakura nursing home, kicked the Yokohama kindergarten, and raised chaos all over Shonan, having the time of their lives. But a free-spirited life always comes with all kinds of consequences. After being chased by a patrol officer for eight blocks, Bo Mingyue Xun was overcome with sorrow. Why is it so hard to be free?! * By the time she entered the police academy, Bo Mingyue Xun had figured it out. To be free, you first need power. Then she'll just have to become the top student in every subject! This time, she's going to take back everything that's hers! * ...So why are there gorillas like that at this police academy?! And there are five of them! Looking at her report card, where she came in second in every subject, Bo Mingyue Xun bitterly shed tears. Just you wait, gorillas. One day, I'll make you pay! So until I beat you, not one of you is allowed to die. Not. A. Single. One. Reader's guide: #0 There are more headcanons than stray dogs, and out-of-character moments are everywhere. This is all in service of the author's personal preferences as I try to write my ideal type.jpg #1 The heroine is a childhood friend of the bomb disposal squad, and a classmate of the five police academy friends. It incorporates a little of Kyougaku, and I've moved Instructor Kazama from Kanagawa to Tokyo. #2 It starts with everyday youth, then moves on to university, the police academy, and the story of saving the five friends. The romance with Hiromitsu comes later. #3 You can criticize the author, but don't criticize Xun. #4 Actually, it'd be best not to criticize the author either. I'll just keep crying. Theme: Take control of your own fate.
