The Endgame [Western Crossover]

After Damian, Bruce, a doting father, discovered that he had yet another biological child. This child, who had grown up away from home, was delicate and innocent, with the same blue eyes and black hair as him. Her personality was nothing like anyone in the Batcave. She was like a pretty, well-behaved doll, clingy and affectionate. The only downside was that she got sick often, enough to break your heart. The big Bat had always thought Hysly was a little daughter who never caused trouble, and her doting father was deeply relieved and let his guard down. That is, until he noticed dangerous people appearing at the Wayne estate like mushrooms after the rain, all visiting at once and taking meticulous care of Hysly. She seemed used to it and was not at all on her guard. Emphasis on not at all. Bruce: … - Everyone in Gotham's darkness knew that the girl was the one exception. The proud wild rose bowed its noble head before her. The silent killer treasured one of her smiles like a precious gem. The silver-tongued devil signed the most unfair contract for her. An angel descended, carrying a holy decree powerful enough to cleanse everything, yet chose to leave behind the soul of one mortal. To protect her, they would cross any sea of fire or hail of bullets, go to hell for her, and take her to heaven. They were her most loyal knights. They would never betray her. - On the sofa, one Hysly and a whole bunch of Hyslys in secret identities were crowded around a little tub, digging into vanilla ice cream. Apart from her gorgeous face, there's nothing special about her. If she can lie down, she won't sit; if she can slack off, she won't work hard. She's so lazy that she's practically invulnerable, as if she were the only person in the world born without dreams. She keeps going by forcing herself to set goals. Finally, the day before her twenty-sixth birthday, after seeing her parents safely through the rest of their lives, she was left with no friends, no lover, and no debts. With nothing weighing her down, she decided to put an end to this absurd and boring life. Everything was ready. Wen Yan felt nothing as she sat at the dining table, until her phone screen suddenly lit up. It was an unfamiliar app she'd never downloaded. Wen Yan tapped it casually. After a brief black screen, she saw a tiny chibi doll lying asleep on the other side of the screen, showing her only the soft brown back of its head. She tried to delete the app, but it didn't work. And the doll's clothes looked oddly familiar. "This is interesting," Wen Yan said. She put away the knife on the table. - Wen Yan's lazy life had said goodbye to her, for good. But why were the superheroes and supervillains from "that" world treating this place like a sanatorium?! Wen Yan: *grieving.jpg* It was Iron Man who started it.jpg - "Hey, hey! Even if you're treating this place like a sanatorium, don't drag me into it! What do you mean, you're grateful? New York can't possibly get into trouble..." The airport exploded, and chaos erupted. Another perfectly peaceful day in New York. Thankfully, no one was hurt. - "Don't doubt it, don't ask questions. The blue-eyed Charles in the living room, the scrap collector playing with coins on the coffee table, and the unbelievably fast, unruly white-haired guy running all over the house... They were all gifts that came free with a phone plan. No returns. ...Oh, and that little clown bouncing around in a box? That one absolutely must not be let out." - An anonymous do-gooder, Wen Something, who wrote this before having to come back and keep running the sanatorium - We save one another, and support one another.
