Synopsis

Yelena couldn't understand why her father wouldn't let her into his world. It made her feel betrayed.

After a deadly joke, she grew sensitive and withdrawn, hating her own helplessness. An unknown intelligent being asked:

[Do you want the power you've dreamed of? Come with me.]

And so she came to another world, where an organization took her in. Only when the bird, so carefully tended in a greenhouse, faced the cruel winds and rain did she understand that her father had been protecting and caring for her all along, quietly and unobtrusively.

[Rewrite your destiny, girl.]

At last, Yelena understood that her father was truly terrible at expressing himself. Every refusal could be written as an act of love.

Dear Father, I want to grow up now. I'll use this gift of power to protect others.

A dove? A mouse? Or a black spider...

It doesn't matter. At the right moment, she'll put on the right mask and use others as nodes, weaving a web with eyes and ears everywhere.

You'll see: a Batman-flavored assassin terrorizing an upstanding rich guy in an Iron Man suit in the middle of the night;

a big hammer accidentally falling into Gotham and fighting its way through;

a Yelena-style aerial performer;

a mysterious old man from the universe, with Batman and the birds putting on a family drama;

superheroes versus an evil company that creates mutants;

The Bat Family Stories

Welcome to Gotham. I like Batfamily crossover fics (especially Batman-centric ones). I only ship characters with members of the Batfamily, so please don't recommend Superman/Batman or Batman/Superman. I occasionally enjoy some Bruce Wayne/Clark Kent within the Batfamily, too.

Derivative Fiction, Crossover with Marvel/DC or Anime (Mostly Free

They're all fanfics, like Grave Robbers' Chronicles and so on. For crossovers with the DC and Marvel universes, most are Batman's kids stories. I also read The Walking Dead, Detective Conan, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Bungou Stray Dogs.

DC Batman Fanfiction

Includes BG, BL, and no-CP. Mostly cute, heartwarming stories and silly, unhinged comedy. [No guarantee they'll be completed: finished stories, ongoing ones, and abandoned ones are all here.]

Batkid Protagonists, Female Lead

Batfam fics. Three stars means I forgot what it was about or haven't read it. If you've read one, leave a comment with your rating and I'll adjust mine accordingly.

Free Crossover Fanfiction: Marvel and DC

Completed and ongoing crossover stories featuring the American superhero universe. BL, straight romance, and no-couple stories alike. Everything has three stars because most of the five-star ratings are for stories I read a year ago or longer, so I couldn't post them all. Hence, all four stars.
