[Western Crossover] Want to Try This?

If you asked ten-year-old Penny what superpower she wanted, she'd blink at you innocently. "I want the power to be happy! I want to visit every book I've ever read!" If you asked twenty-year-old Penny what superpower she wanted, she'd quietly turn away, pressing her lips together until they bled. "I want... I want everything, which means I don't want anything. If I'm destined to have nothing, I'd rather..." Now, as Penny is about to cross the dimensional barrier, she pauses for a moment. Time flies, and it has taken the sincerity and fire she once carried with it. She has been burned down to a tottering shell, and the pain in her soul shows in her dim eyes. Yet this woman, or perhaps a girl forced to grow up too soon, stands in the void and thinks carefully. Her back is still straight. At last, she smiles. The gentle smile is like the first light of dawn, brightening her delicate features. There's something almost mischievous about her expression. "When I was little, I always wanted to try concrete and stones," she says abruptly. - The author's brain isn't working, and I can't keep track of the timeline details, so just treat this as a chaotic, self-indulgent everything-in-one-pot story and enjoy the ride. No romance, no crack ships. Rest assured, everything is friendship and platonic love. Happy ending. Theme: Food is the people's first necessity.
