Abandoning Winter [Entertainment Industry]

Xia Nanfeng had dreamed of becoming a movie and TV star admired by everyone ever since he was a child. But even at twenty, he was still working long days as an extra. Forget having lines: it was hard to find even a single shot that lasted more than three seconds in an entire episode.

Then one day, Lady Luck smiled on him, and he crossed paths with Feng Yan, a famous director in the industry.

Feng Yan didn't care about an actor's background when casting. He went by instinct.

As luck would have it, the day Feng Yan visited the set to pick actors, Xia Nanfeng was standing under the scorching sun, dutifully playing a soldier guarding the city gate.

Wearing armor that weighed dozens of pounds, Xia Nanfeng stood motionless at the edge of the shot for a long time. Feng Yan sat quietly in his van and watched him for just as long. In the end, he pressed his lips together and told his assistant, "Him."
