The Villainous Supporting Male Lead Decides to Die

Ming Zhui is the young master of a wealthy family, yet he has suffered bullying since childhood.

His parents dislike that he looks like neither of them, and his older brother resents him for being the reason their family fell apart.

The childhood friend he has secretly loved for years, meanwhile, falls in love with Luo Yuesheng, the child who is truly his parents'.

Luo Yuesheng is beautiful and graceful, and good at everything.

Like the moon in the snow, like a flower beneath the water.

Ming Zhui has been unwilling to accept it, has felt resentment, and has suffered and struggled.

Until one day, he discovers that he is merely a supporting male character in a book.

A villainous supporting male character, at that.

He can never measure up to Luo Yuesheng, not because he isn't good enough or isn't outstanding, but simply because he is a supporting character.

...It's simply his fate.

On a bright spring day, Ming Zhui is diagnosed with depression.

He decides to die.

-

Everyone in the Ming family has the same dream.

They dream that Ming Zhui dies in an icy lake in March. The boy is bright and radiant as he leaps lightly into the water with a smile, then rushes toward death without looking back.

At first, they don't believe it.

That is, until Luo Yuesheng tremblingly finds the diagnosis of severe depression in Ming Zhui's wardrobe.

Heaven and earth turn, the sun and moon trade places.

The past comes crashing down like a river in flood

At last, the Ming family realizes as never before that they are about to lose their most precious treasure.

-

The chill of early spring in March gives way to renewal in April.

Only the rivers and lakes remain cold as ice.

If love can overturn everything, can you live on for me?

Couple: Luo Yuesheng x Ming Zhui. A ruthless, determined pursuer who never lets go, and a master of disguise x a recipient who has let go of everything in life and sees death as his only true destination.

Fake-versus-real young master pairing. Everyone suffers except the recipient.

A touch of everyone's favorite. Proceed with caution if that's not your thing.

There are a few science fiction elements.

A self-indulgent, stress-relief story written for myself.
