My Archrival, the Campus Heartthrob, Marked Me

[See the author's page for the upcoming novel My Rival Ruined Me]

Everyone thinks Wen Mo, the campus heartthrob, is a cold and aloof male god. Only Su Zhan knows he's a big bad wolf in human skin, a refined scoundrel in private.

-

After an accident, Su Zhan discovers he's changed from a beta into an omega. When his pheromones go out of control, he's unfortunately with his nemesis, Wen Mo.

-

Su Zhan is shocked. "Holy crap, why do I smell like pheromones? Wen Mo, go get me a suppressant!"

Wen Mo lowers his eyes and says calmly, "There probably isn't enough time. Your pheromone levels are already very high."

Su Zhan: ...!!!

After an indescribable encounter, his enemy Wen Mo gives him a temporary mark.

-

Afterward, Su Zhan discovers something deeply troubling.

His body has developed a few unspeakable little problems. He's become dependent on the pheromones of the person who temporarily marked him. If he's not soothed by that person's pheromones for a while, he'll flush and run a fever, along with symptoms like a sore waist and weak legs.

Literally unable to keep his legs together.

-

Su Zhan can only sneak close to Wen Mo and inhale his pheromones, despite how mortifying it feels. But he's soon found out.

Wen Mo: Are you sniffing me?

Su Zhan: ...I had no choice. Actually, you smell...

Wen Mo: Hmm?

Su Zhan: ...Really good.

My Rival Ruined Me

On his first day at university, Mu Chenyang discovers that one of his roommates is Yan Jingning, his old nemesis.

Mu Chenyang nitpicks Yan Jingning at every turn, but gradually realizes that Yan Jingning isn't the person he remembers.

He helps him with his homework, brings him food, plays video games with him, makes his bed, lays out his pajamas, and more...

Just as Mu Chenyang decides to forgive Yan Jingning for his past behavior, he realizes that something isn't quite right.

He posts anonymously on a message board: I suddenly feel like my roommate looks at me strangely.

[This roommate takes such good care of me, pretty much in every way. I thought we were just good buddies and didn't think much of it, but lately...

PS: I'm a totally straight guy, and a bit homophobic. My roommate is a man.]

[Your roommate probably wants to get with you. He's being so attentive, he must be after your ass.]

[As a straight guy, I thought about it, and I'd probably only be this proactive when pursuing a girl.]

[Ever heard the saying, "Homophobia is just being deep in the closet"? But if you're really straight and have a girl you like, you should make that clear to your roommate and keep your distance.]

After reading all the replies, Mu Chenyang, on the other side of the screen, feels like his whole world has fallen apart.
