My Little Ball Is Gone

As the title says.

The bottom is about to divorce his husband when he suddenly falls ill and needs surgery to have something removed.

He has no other relatives in the city. The top has been with him for many years, and even if there's no love between them, they share a familial bond. He decides to take care of him through the operation before divorcing him.

The thing really gets removed, but the blurb won't let me say what it is.

A funny short story, under 100,000 words.

I'm just worried whether this title will pass review.

Same-sex marriage is legal in this setting.
