The Whole World Will Burn for Me

[Extensively revised. I've revised it through Chapter 30, so the plot should be coherent, but it's best to wait until the entire revision is finished before reading!] Xiao Yuan spent the first half of his life constrained by others, but he never thought he had it that bad. He had a master who cherished him, a brother he had lost and found again, and a bad-tempered younger martial brother who at least wouldn't hurt him. Until one day, his master abandoned him, his brother planted a Gu in him, and his younger martial brother sneered and asked why he was still alive... Even so, Xiao Yuan still hadn't lost hope in the world. He met a young swordsman. The young swordsman was as cool and clear as the moon, refined and graceful, with the bearing of a scion of a prestigious clan in every movement. Xiao Yuan thought they could be friends. Later, the young swordsman asked him to use his own blood to save someone else's life. Xiao Yuan didn't want to die. He wanted to live, and live freely. Read this before diving in: [The person on the cover is the shou, and Gu Louyin is the gong. Only the gong gets a successful crematorium arc. From beginning to end, the gong and shou only fall for each other, but the shou has intimate contact with a cannon-fodder gong. This novel is not for pure-love warriors.] [The blurb itself is the content warning. Every kind of scummy behavior is laid out clearly. This isn't a sweet romance or a pure wish-fulfillment story. It's an old-school melodramatic angst fest, so dive in at your own discretion.] Theme: Don't do unto others what you wouldn't want done to yourself.
