Have Any of You Seen My Dragon?

(My next novel, So You're a Top Student? Your Scum Has Arrived, is open for follows!)

Ji Yao wakes up on a planet called Alpha, inhabited entirely by half-beasts. By a stroke of luck, he not only tames a black dragon, but somehow ends up with a dragon egg, too.

One morning, though, the black dragon inexplicably leaves without a word. With the egg tucked under his arm, Ji Yao sets off on a long journey to find it.

The people of Alpha suffer from an inborn condition that causes uncontrollable rage. When it flares up, they don't even recognize their own families. But under Ji Yao's care, they become as docile as kittens. Various factions catch wind of this and launch a fierce battle to claim the superpowered youth.

The Empire's five-star general: "I discovered this little thing first. He's my servant."

The Royal Academy of Sciences' chief scientist: "This boy's genes hold the future of Alpha's people. I must conduct an in-depth study."

The rebel leader: "Everybody back off! Whoever gets this cutie gets to keep him!"

Ji Yao: "Now, now, don't fight. Has anyone seen my dragon? It's black and about this big?"

Several days later, a new post appears on Alpha's largest social platform, with a photo of Ji Yao soaring on the back of a black dragon, a baby dragon perched on his head.

Ji Yao Isn't Far Away: "Thanks for everyone's concern. I found my dragon."

The entire platform explodes. Holy crap, isn't that Emperor Louis, the bachelor of two hundred years?!

Moments later, Emperor Louis reposts Ji Yao's post.

Louis Is Not So Easy: "Thanks for everyone's concern. The family is reunited."

2. Updates every day at noon. Other updates are for corrections.

3. This story has lots of original worldbuilding, melodramatic fluff, and an especially powerful golden finger. Don't take the illogical parts too seriously.
