With no other choice, the old Mr. Lu entrusts his grandson, Lu Zeye, to Xiang Wanlin, whom he personally trained, from his hospital bed.

Xiang Wanlin has long heard that Lu Zeye is a troublemaker who dares to hit his own father at forty and his seven-year-old cousin. But the old Mr. Lu has been so kind to him that Xiang Wanlin can only steel himself and agree, promising to turn Lu Zeye into a proper CEO.

At their first meeting, Lu Zeye wants to throw Xiang Wanlin out, while Xiang Wanlin wishes he could send Lu Zeye back to the factory for a complete rebuild.

Xiang Wanlin: Of all the ways to be unfilial, having a son like Lu Zeye is the worst.

Lu Zeye: Nobody who can boss me around has been born yet. Who the hell do you think you are?

A few months later...

The picky little tyrant is made to sit at the table and eat sesame tangyuan.

Lu Zeye: Look at these tangyuan. White on the outside, black-hearted inside. Just like you.

Xiang Wanlin lifts an eyebrow. "Are they sweet?"

Lu Zeye: Sweet.

Xiang Wanlin: Do they smell good?

Lu Zeye: They smell amazing.

Lu Zeye never imagined that after years of making waves, he would one day work overtime, wash dishes, and become a model citizen just to earn a little red flower on Xiang Wanlin's points chart...
