I Should Never Have Descended to the Mortal Realm

Word has it that a certain chancellor of the Great Dynasty is addicted to suicide, and heads to the lake to kill herself every half month. Heaven rewards the determined. One day, she finally enrages the emperor, gets stripped of her post, has her estate confiscated, and is beheaded.

To get revenge on that damn emperor, Mu Xinbai takes on a huge loan from the underworld, and from then on, goes farther and farther down the road of paying it back...

They say it's hard to become an immortal, but being a decent person seems even harder. After living for more than nine hundred years, Mu Xinbai sits by her own grave and bitterly regrets her choices. Ugh... She never should have come down to the mortal world!

A ridiculous plot, a good-for-nothing heroine who keeps failing despite her repeated comebacks, and a male lead with a golden finger who can infuriate people to death.

A goofy author, making things up as she goes...
