Jian Ran makes a bet with a friend: if she loses, she'll seduce Zhou Yan, the CEO of the Risers Group.

A bet is a bet, so Jian Ran pulls out all the stops to win Zhou Yan over. To her surprise, it takes almost no effort to get him.

Then she makes a bet with Zhou Yan: she bets she will never fall in love with him.

Jian Ran thinks she's lost this game too. Just as she quietly plans to leave, the aloof man grabs her wrist, his eyes bloodshot.

"I've waited for you for so long. Where do you think you're going?"

He's waiting for the day Jian Ran falls in love with him.

*A short story about a bankrupt heiress and a powerful business tycoon

*A classic, old-school, melodramatic Mary Sue setup

*A short story written casually for practice
