Inuzuka Shigure is a physical powerhouse, a sports prodigy who can run 100 meters in seven seconds and still thinks he's too slow.
Inuzuka Shigure has long hair and pretty eyes. When he sits there daydreaming, he looks like a fluffy dog sitting on its haunches!
He's got everything going for him, except he's a delinquent.
“Mad dog!” the bruised and battered punks muttered about him, and Inuzuka Shigure's terrible reputation spread far and wide.
And now, this guy has a new problem.
His dad got remarried. His new wife is a mysterious woman with more than a dozen sons.
Inuzuka Shigure, born without a single social skill in his brain: Huh...?
After awkwardly greeting his new mom, he promptly showed off a speed worthy of a sports anime protagonist and vanished in a flash.
What should he do now? Inuzuka Shigure was in utter turmoil. Should he cut his hair? Should he bleach his highlights? His blue hair was natural, but would it be a little too unseemly? Should he find a stylist and dye it black?
And what about his piercings? How should he remove his nail polish? Damn it, he just bought those temporary tattoos and loves them so much, he doesn't want to get rid of them
He crouched in a corner with his hands over his head, shutting himself away from the world. After a while, he shakily picked up his phone, planning to ask his middle school classmate, who used to beat up kids with him, how to deal with this problem.
His classmate answered the call, one hand stroking a black-and-white doggo. “Then just try to make yourself look less intimidating.”
They talked at cross-purposes for a while before finally settling on a makeover plan.
So the next day, the mad dog came home with a litter of puppies.
On the first day after bringing the puppies home, one of them gave Inuzuka Shigure a chewed-up straw. He sniffed it carefully and caught the scent of a vanilla milkshake.
On the second day, one of the puppies gave Inuzuka Shigure a spoon of the kind you find at dessert shops. He picked it up and saw a little coffee jelly syrup still on it.
On the third day, one of the puppies gave Inuzuka Shigure a bandage that looked like it had been reused many times. For some reason, just picking it up gave him the creeps.
On the fourth day, one of the puppies gave Inuzuka Shigure an eye mask smeared with edamame whipped cream. When he turned around, the owner was right behind him.
Inuzuka Shigure: ...
“Stop!” The big dog started scolding the little dogs. “Don't bring this stuff home anymore!”
“It's such a pain when weirdos get attached to you!”
.I'm determined to turn every awful thing into a lighthearted slice-of-life or sports anime.
.It'll be pretty ridiculous, just so you know.
.Doggos are the best! (That doesn't mean cats, bunnies, birds, fish, or other pets aren't great too.)
Theme: Dogs are man's best friend.
