One, two, three, four: beast tamer, summoner, and owner of the skill Friend to Other Species. Formerly the holy son of some obscure religious organization, he was betrayed, had a chuunibyou meltdown, came back to life, and is now working hard to build a new world without humans~
Of course, he failed. The monster kingdom he'd worked so hard to establish was annexed by a slime using the slogan "We'll sue you for piracy" to claim its territory, and he ended up spinning thread under the command of the White Spider Demon King.
One, two, three, four: ...Well, at least I'm working for nonhumans. That's something to be happy about!
The human traitor was perfectly content, but the monster girls bound to him wouldn't let him sink into such a debauched life.
They tried every trick in the book to get One, Two, Three, Four back on his feet. But, lost in a life of luxury, he'd long forgotten the promises he'd once made. With a goblin under one arm and a wolfman under the other, he was happy to go bury his face in something fluffy when he was in a good mood, and watch humans fight among themselves, with assassins killing heroes and heroes killing demon kings, when he wasn't. His little life was going wonderfully, and he was living in pure comfort~
He was happy, but the monster girls weren't. So one breezy, sunny morning, they went to confront their slovenly summoner. By accident, their power ran wild and triggered a singularity, dragging One, Two, Three, Four through time and across continents to another world
One, Two, Three, Four: What kind of place is this? Why is it full of humans!?
Monster girls: Right? Why is this place full of humans? To keep this continent from being polluted any further, you should take action, One, Two, Three!
After going through countless hardships, One, Two, Three, Four finally made it home, only to be met by the eager attention of a whole crowd of demon kings.
"We heard you went to a world without magic?"
They spoke in unison. One, Two, Three, Four felt a chill run through him as he suddenly remembered the unique beings in his world.
They were collectively known as "transmigrators," sent there by goddesses, magic, trucks, or other forces beyond their control, to wreak havoc on the continent and stir up countless waves.
They came from other worlds, and One, Two, Three, Four had just visited one.
One, Two, Three, Four: Heh heh :)
Having found a route to their hometown, the transmigrators were incredibly excited.
"Great, now I can catch up on my manga!" / "I've been wanting to read that novel for ages!" / "Get me some recipes!"
So they quickly decided to appoint One, Two, Three, Four as an envoy to other worlds and send him there to bring back precious cultural sustenance. The transmigrators were thrilled, each of them seeming to see a new hope.
...Except for One, Two, Three, Four.
Damn it.
With a long face, One, Two, Three, Four grumbled as he walked through the busy streets of another world: Why are there so many worlds full of humans? Why haven't these worlds been destroyed yet?
An if-branch of an if-branch from a story I wrote a long, long time ago. I don't know how this happened, but it doesn't matter.
The monster girls are based on a PPT game called Summoning Monster Girls. But I've heavily altered the races, personalities, and other details and added my own headcanons. You don't need to have played the game, but I still hope you'll give it a try.
There are many personal headcanons in the other-species setting, and my research and interpretations may be wrong. Please don't take my word for it, because I'm making it all up anyway _(:з"∠)_
