Of Course I'm Delicious

Little Uki Hiiragi is a loner, a pessimist, and currently dreams of having his senior, who has Cursed Spirit Manipulation, eat him as if he were a cursed spirit.

“After all, my technique is Cursed Spirit Assimilation. The thought of temporarily using a cursed spirit’s power is just gross. And the thought of ending up like one, all rotten and disappearing in some forgotten corner, well... I’d rather have my senior eat me first.”

And so the unfortunate senior is subjected to Little Uki’s attacks, left exhausted and with no one to talk to about it.

After being pestered unreasonably for half a day, he can only lay it out plainly: “First of all, I’m neither a fork nor a cake. More importantly, cursed spirits taste awful, so I doubt you’d taste any better.”

Little Uki Hiiragi: ?!!!

Little Uki Hiiragi misses the point: “I taste great! Of course I taste great!!”

Little Uki is furious at being doubted! But he can’t exactly tell his senior that he has no taste, so he decides to see if he can improve his own flavor.

I tried my best. If you still won’t eat me, that’s your problem!

With that thought in mind, Little Uki Hiiragi gets to work!

Rule One for Tasting Great: A reasonable amount of exercise makes your meat firm and springy.

So Little Uki Hiiragi takes on all kinds of extreme sports. As long as he’s alive, he’ll keep finding new ways to get himself killed!

But tennis and basketball both end in accidents, and while skateboarding, he nearly gets entangled with a weirdo.

It seems Rule One won’t work, so Little Uki has no choice but to put Rule Two into practice.

Rule Two for Tasting Great: Proper relaxation makes you more delicious and refreshing to the palate.

So Little Uki Hiiragi signs up for one tour group after another. His destinations include Hakata, Yokohama, and Namimori Town, all famous tourist spots!

But while sightseeing, he gets hounded by a group of local species. Terrifying!

If that’s the case, it looks like he can only try Rule Three!

Rule Three for Tasting Great: Falling in love can take your flavor to the next level.

Little Uki Hiiragi hasn’t even clicked on the so-called matchmaking site when his senior grabs his hand.

His senior is shocked, speechless, and angry: “You’re already thinking of cheating on me? Then I guess I should just eat you after all.”

Little Uki Hiiragi: “...It’s that simple?”

Come on, senior! He firmly closes his eyes. Trust me, I taste great!

A bit of trivia: “Uki” means “cheating” or “having an affair.”
